I heard this song again today, it's from late '02 / early '03. A really good song - has been very few good R&B songs out since.
Anyone know where Vivian Green went?

I'm sorry but I live in Philly (her hometown) and they wore the hell out of this song up here. :-/They played it too much. I think that's why I didn't buy the album. But....she does have a song out on the Dee-Lovely soundtrack. She does "Love For Sale"---it sounds beautiful.

There aren't too many hits with "Rollercoaster" in the title. There was also "Love Rollercoaster" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers which I think was a remake from the 70s.

I really liked this song when it first came out. Loved the vocals.
I actually discovered the song through a fanmade mashup that took Vivian's vocals and put them over the instrumental of "Feel This" by Robbie Rivera. I did not actually hear the original version until about 2005. And I heard that in a shoe store (I think it was Famous Footwear). The original is quite nice and simple. The remixes by Above & Beyond, Junior Vasquez and That Kid Chris were quite good. A&B really turned this one into an anthem.

Not a bad song. Hard to imagine the song's that old now.

This was a good song. And when I first heard it, I expected a lot of good music to follow from Vivian Green. Didn't quite turn out that way, though.

I think Vivian's tune reached #39 on the Hot 100 in 2003

This was my song a couple of years ago. I just heard it on the radio last night and I had to pull her CD out. I love the lyrics. :)

I liked this song. I discovered this song through a bootleg. If I find the link to it, I'll post it here. I have it though.
I heard it through a version called "Feel This Emotional Rollercoaster" by Vivian Green vs. Robbie Rivera. It was a mashup. I instantly became hooked to her voice and the song.
Recently I heard the original version of the song in a store. That is quite good as well.

Love it! I prefer the Above & Beyond remix to the original though.

Amazing song. She was robbed of a Grammy nomination for this.

Vivian just blew me away in 2003. This was one of my favorite songs of 2003. Not only that, but Vivian was the top artist on my chart in 2003.

Love it! I prefer the Above & Beyond remix to the original though. I could imagine that an Above & Beyond Mix would improve it. Most of their work is pretty good. That song would sound great with their remix. Would it be possible to post a sample? :)

I still love this after all these years. I actually prefer the Junior Vasquez remix of this which takes this to the next level with all the twists and turns and drama moments, just like an actual rollercoaster.

I like it and still listen to it. It's a personal story as opposed to cliches.

I still love this song to pieces. It's hits so different as I've gotten older.

I heard this song alot on WGCI and V103 when I was younger. This was her best song. If you're into her ballads, you should check out her new album Love Absolute . Many songs there are reminiscent of songs from her debut. "Love Song", "You Send Me", "Where You Are", "Sweet Home", to list a few. (By the way, Vivian herself is actually a big hater of this song lol. She feels like the composition is basic and dislikes how they handled her voice here.)
