FOOTLOOSE is one of my favorite movies from the 80s for all the right - or is it wrong? - reasons. I love it. One of the best things about it, of course, is the music. Isn't it great when they dance to "Dancing In The Sheets" near the beginning, or when the guys dance to "Let's Hear It For The Boy," and when "Almost Paradise" plays at the dance? Great stuff!

Orange Clouds hates this whole soundtrack. I love it, even though the movie was cheesy as hell.

"Almost Paradise" and Kenny Loggins' "I'm Free" are good. I can do without the rest

I believe this soundtrack is still tied with Urban Cowboy for generating the most Top 40 singles on the Hot 100 (six apiece). The Bodyguard just missed tying them because "Queen Of The Night" wasn't eligible for the main chart. Don't remember how many songs from High School Musical made it.

I just saw the movie agian on VH1 last night. I think I will buy the DVD today. I don't own the soundtrack, however I do enjoy some of the songs that weren't so popular such Bonnie Tyler's "Hero" & my favourite by Kenny Loggins "I'm Free".
