As the third single from Head Over Heels, this was a big ol' flop. It missed the Hot 100 entirely. This was my favorite of the three singles. "If I Was Your Girl" was scheduled as the fourth single, but it was cancelled after this song flopped.

This is my favorite of the "Head Over Heels" singles too. There was really nothing wrong with this song, although it wasn't quite as good as the "Forever Your Girl" or "Spellbound" singles.

I love this album!! I bought it used and played it non stop for a month lol. The song was cool but there were TONS of better choices for singles. The only good single was "my love is for real" and that is my favorite off the album...speakin of which anyone else think Paula was trying to recreate the "if" type of vibe that Janet had back in 1993?? With the deep voice and fast lyrics??

I somewhat agree that the album is underrated. I still don't think it's on the level of Forever Your Girl or Spellbound, but I recently listened to it again for the first time in years, and there is tons of good stuff to be found. My favorite was always "Under The Influence".

I haven't heard any of these songs. My family were big Paula fans during "forever your girl" and "spellbound" but i don't think they even knew she had a 3rd album-- i didn't know until a few months ago.

I love the album, I was listening to it yesterday actually. Very underrated and full of great pop songs. Still not quite as good as her first 2 albums. I think the songs are really good when I listen to the album but they're kind of forgettable and blend into eachother.
My favourite song is "My Love For Real" - incredible and hot!

This is definately my least favorite Paula Abdul single. Pretty horrific if you ask me.

This isn't one of my favorite singles from Paula but I still love it! The video was so much fun too... loved her shortish hair style. Aw, her last single :'(

Breezy, funky, and danceable this is a hot track from Paula. It's a shame it didn't do well as with the album. I recall the My Love is For Real video getting a big push from vH1 and then dying while Janet found greater success with the similarily themed Runaway. IMO, 1995 was a bad year for her to break in with this kind of music.
She took so long off from her last album with the Bulimia ordeal that she probably was a bit out of touch with the changing styles of the time. I don't think it's wise for a stylized artist such as herslf(J.Lo included) should take that much of a break between albums and she took 4 years. Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis would have no doubt kept her on track and it would have been exciting to see how here career would have shaped during the later half of the 90s. I do hope she exceeds all expectations and bounces back to the top again. I hope she touches upon some Europop, in the vein of Kylie.

It missed the Hot 100 entirely. It peaked at #112 on the Bubbling Under Singles chart.

I liked the song and the music video was pretty good.
I still think the single version of Crazy Cool was the best song and video from the album.

I like it. This and "My Love Is For Real" were my favorite singles from the album and I didn't care for "Crazy Cool." Hard to believe this was her last single.

This was blah! Not bad but not great by any means. Still, it's much better than the crap they feed us these days, like Britney and J.Lo. I love her single from the "90120" soundtrack. It should've been a single. I far more interested on her 4th unreleased album. I want it!

It wasn't that good of a song. I liked "My Love Is For Real" a little bit better.

I like it but definitely is far from being my favorite single from Paula... My Love Is For Real was definitely the best from Head Over Heels...

This was easily her worst single until her American Idol "comeback" singles.

This is definately my least favorite Paula Abdul single. Pretty horrific if you ask me. I guess I've kind of lightened up when it comes to this. It's still one of her worst, but it's kind of endearingly cheesy now.

It's decent, but I like "Crazy Cool" and "My Love Is For Real" much better.
I don't think this was strong enough to be released as a single.

This was a huge flop but was a huge hit in Kansas City. It was their most requested song 3 weeks in a row. It debuted on their play list at #8 and eventually hit #1 on their playlist, where is stayed for 4 straight weeks. So I'm sure it felt like a huge hit in that area. Kansas City was #27 in the market, at that time. Here are some screenshots. Attachment DeletedContinued next page/posts
