Awesome 1983 followup to their 1980 smash, Take Your Time. I heard this on the Classic Dance station, Mix 102.7, a few days ago. It's a great track. Expose' rips off this hugely in their 1987 hit, "Let Me Be The One."

I love the SOS Band! I don't know if it's my favorite by them, but it's up there. The good ol' days of Jimmy & Terry...

I love this song! I also love the version Mariah did on her Daydream world tour.

I love the SOS Band! I don't know if it's my favorite by them, but it's up there. The good ol' days of Jimmy & Terry... I remember Mariah Carey performing this at her concert in 1993 for the "Music Box" tour. It was at Madison Square Garden. She should have remade this. I liked the original as well.

this was a great song... I always like how it brought a little bit of a rock sound to R&B

I really like this song. Deborah Cox's cover is pretty good too.

I love it, of course.
My favorite S.O.S. Band song has to be either "No One's Gonna Love You" or "Take Your Time (Do It Right)" though.

The song was even incorporated in a 1990 Beats International record called "Dub Be Good To Me".

Classic. I don't really care for too many of the covers or songs that sample/interpolate this, but this is a great song. The production on this is one of Jam & Lewis' finest moments in my books. "Tell Me That You Still Care" still remains as my favorite S.O.S. song, but this would be right behind it.

An all time favorite. I could see someone like The Weeknd doing something like this now and having a massive hit with it.

Not only is this song the SOS Band's greatest ever but is one of Jam & Lewis's all-time best productions as it sounded ahead of its time with the 808 drum pattern. This song is million times better than "Take Your Time (Do it Right)" (I never really liked that song for some strange reason) yet the latter is this group's biggest pop hit. I often heard this song as an old school cut on WGCI and V103 when I was younger. I also liked several other songs of the SOS Band's 1983-1986 period, like "Tell Me If You Still Care". One of the greatest 1980s R&B songs of all-time.
