It ranks as one of my top 3 favorite Mariah Carey songs of all-time. The others are "Always Be My Baby" and "Can't Let Go".
I thought the remix was nearly as good as the original.

It's one of her better covers. I like it.

I like the Willy Wonka remix more. The original was kind of boring.

I liked Brenda K. Starr's original a whole lot more.

I never really liked this one...I found it pretty ordinary. I haven't heard the original though.

Maybe Mariah was on her way down by this point, but this song is kinda dull... maybe it seemed better at the time but I think it doesn't hold up. Sounds run of the mill.

I loved it. I can hear it nowadays and still gush over it. I guess it's because I'm such a girl.

YGWYG may be one of my favorite all time songs. I have never gotten tired of it. :)

Good job on the remake, but not as good as the original. A chart tidbit on the original: it peaked at #12 or #13 on Billboard, but had enough staying power to make the top 100 of the year, somewhat unusual for that time period.

Sometimes I find it a little boring and skip-worthy. But at other times, I love it.

I know she was trying to give a shout out to Brenda K Starr for giving her a shot to begin with, but I thought this song wasn't a good way of doing that. Very boring to me.

I Still Believe/ Pure Imagination Damizza Remix feat Krayzie Bone & Da Brat is the BEST version of this song! Willy Wonka mix you call it.
The music video for this mix Mariah Carey looks VERY HOT!

The David Morales Remix of this song was excellent. I thought this was a good cover of Brenda K. Starr's original.

Not one of my favorite Mariah songs, but I still really like it. The Stevie J. remix with Mocha and Amil was my favorite remix of it.

The Pure Imagination version is my favorite, but those club mixes are good. 'The Kings Mix' is cool though simply because it's all ad-libed vocals over a house bit. I love her performance on that one.

I like this song a lot. It wasn't meant to be a new Mariah masterpiece- it was a tribute to her start in the music industry. Mariah's is better than the original. When I hear this song it reminds me of a vacation in March 1999 so its even better!

Mariah gives a soulful vocal, but the production/song itself are rather lackluster.
All of the remixes trump the original for me, especially "ISB/PI" and the great "Kings Mix" (love the techno vibe and the fact that it's all ad-libs).

This was the first song when I really felt like her voice was damaged. I still cringe when I hear it.
