blah...
Not a favorite. The only two songs by them that I really loved were "Say My Name" and "Independent Women".

It was alright. I like it more now than I did then.

I like it, but it never should have been a single IMO. There were much better songs on the album that could have been released.

The song was annoying... especially the fact that it was released after "Bills, Bills, Bills". There are definitely better songs to release from that album.

Ooh, love this song!
Well, let's do the bugaboo! Come on and shake a leg or two!
Classic dance song. I'm suprised this song only got as high as 33!

it wasn't their greatest song, it had a catchy factor, but it got annoying quick.

I liked "Bugaboo". During the days when artist still released commercial singles I purchased the "Bills, Bills, Bills" single and "Bugaboo" was featured snippett. That snippett was the reason why I went and bought "The Writing's On The Wall".
It was a catchy single that was in at the time. Shekspear and Kandi produced the single and they were the "It" producer/songwriters in 1999.

I loved the song back then. I remember seeing it on TRL a lot and not knowing which one was Beyonce!

Hated it after more than 100 listens. It's annoying as hell. But at least it was catchy while it lasted.

I absolutely hated this song at first, but it grew on me like no other. I now have it on my iPod.

LOVED it
Beat is crazy, Beyonce looked sexy as hell in the video (so did LeToya...the last Destiny's Child video LaTavia and LeToya appeared in) and it was catchy as anything.

I didn't notice this much while it was out, but as the subsequent singles came out, I noticed MTV using the instrumental for this as background music a lot. When I heard it after that, I liked it quite a bit. (It didn't hurt that DC were on fire by that point.)
I didn't care for "No, No, No" much. But the 4 singles off The Writing's on the Wall, plus the feather in their cap, "Independent Women," were pretty f***in' good.
Then their song quality instantly plummeted after that and as a group or as solo artists, have failed to regain much (if any) ground.

I thought the "Say My Name" video was the last video with the old members. No, "Bugaboo" was the last video with all four original members. The "Say My Name" video didn't feature LaTavia and LeToya; in addition to Beyonce and Kelly, Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin were in the video. This was actually the first video with Michelle and Farrah -- they were both also in "Jumpin' Jumpin'". I think Farrah left the group soon after that video was shot.

I hated this song at first listen. It took me a few listens to understand the whole song but when I did I fell in love. It is probably my least favorite track off "The Writings On The Wall" however

I remember shaking my head at how the video looked like it was funded with food stamps. CHEAP! I was expecting a hot video.
The song is the ish, though. I used to play it all the time when the Writing's On The Wall CD dropped.

I love all DC singles but I remember this was like my fav song for a hell of a long time and it made me but the album which made me become a fan of DC. This is prob. in my top 5 songs from DC along with LMB, No,No,No, Say My Name, and Survivor.

I don't like it. The last two singles from The Writing's On The Wall ("Say My Name", "Jumpin, Jumpin") were infinitely better than the first two (This and "Bills, Bills, Bills")
