Christopher Williams was THE male R&B singer at Uptown. Mary J. Blige of course had the female title. This was his second biggest hit. The funky upbeat "Talk To Myself" hit #4 R&B and #49 on the Hot 100 in 1989. I prefer this midtempo jam though. The whole "Changes" album is a great great look at early 90's jackswing and the transition into slicker R&B. His duet with Mary J. Blige, "Good Luvin," is also a favorite. He was really underrated.
"Every Little Thing U Do" came out in 1993. Here's some chart stats.
Hot 100: #75 Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks: #7

Love this song! I remember having a huge crush on CW during this time, when he had this song, "All I See", and of course, "I'm Dreamin'". I also liked his cover of Teddy Pendergrass's "Come Go With Me" from the Changes album, but my favorite CW song would have to be "Not a Perfect Man" from his third album Not a Perfect Man.
It's a shame he never had the success of Bobby Brown, Keith Sweat, or even his cousin Al B. Sure! He really is one of the most underrated male vocalists of the past 20 years. I hope he makes another album.

This is my second favorite by him behind "I'm Dreamin'". Great song. I was going to say, didn't he sing "don't wake me im dreamin"? How far apart were these releases? The former sounds much older
