Although this song shows how important production is (it's sample of James Brown is far inferior to that of Janet's for "That's the way love go", which is a way better song even though Mary can sing way better"), I still like the song.

what album was this from? I have all her albums and i have never heard of this song??? Well apparently you don't have all of her albums then. ;) It was one of two new tracks on her What's The 411? Remix album (which consisted mostly of remixes of songs from her debut CD).

Well apparently you don't have all of her albums then.Β ;) It was one of two new tracks on her What's The 411? Remix album (which consisted mostly of remixes of songs from her debut CD). Nope. That was the remix of "You Don't Have To Worry". The original was on the "Who's The Man" soundtrack.

Nope.Β That was the remix of "You Don't Have To Worry".Β The original was on the "Who's The Man" soundtrack. Ah. Then never mind my blathering up above. At least my first sentence was accurate, though. ;)

This is so forgotten, it's a shame because it's a super fun track. Love the background vocals.
I definitely prefer the new jill swing vibe of the original album version. The remix zaps all of the energy out of the song IMO.
