I think I started liking this song because Ohio State's marching band, but it was actually a really excellent 1965 hot from the McCoys. Pretty simple rock tune with a killer riff and a catchy chorus. Every now and then I find myself humming this song for no apparent reason. I was pretty disappointed when I found out that they actually weren't saying "Snoopy." The Supremes and Ramsey Lews (instrumental) covered this song. But the original kicks more ass than those two versions combined. #1 US #5 UK

LOL... when I was younger, I used to think it was "Snoopy" too. I thought this song, "Charlie Brown" by the Coasters, and "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" by the Beatles were all inspired by the Peanuts characters.

I thought the same thing about the Coasters song. I was a HUGE Peanuts fan as a kid!
