What did you think of this international smash? I loved it! The video was kind of boring, but I liked it too. (Her video for "J'en Ai Marre" was even more boring.) #9 UK #5 Austria #4 Belgium #5 Germany #11 Holland #1 Italy #1 Spain #17 Switzerland #9 Denmark I don't know about France, but I'm guessing it was #1 there! Impressive chart positions. "Moi...Lolita" unoficially peaked in my top 10 in 2002, since at that time, I made both a regular chart and an international chart. #1 for 6 weeks (International) I think!

I remember searching for this song on Google was what brought me to the discovery of the R&R forums! I saw your reply about how much you liked the song and I remembered how I tried to send it to you a few weeks prior and you declined because you've never heard it!
Un garcon! I had to register and reply because I was tres triste! :'(

I made up my own chorus to it. Something like, "Why should I be the moi lita?" lol.

I don't know about France, but I'm guessing it was #1 there! Impressive chart positions. Errr, you might as well see this: Alizee Moi lolita 9-9-7-5-5-4-4-3-3-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-3-3-2-3-2-2-2-3-3-8-8-9-10-11-18-17- 17-17-20-23-31-35-34-48-73-87-off It sold 1.5 million copies in France & eventually became the 3rd best selling single of 2000 in France & the 52nd best selling single in France in 2001.

She did a lot better than Angela Ammons (Always Getting Over You) and Billy Crawford (When U Think About Me) combined!

Billy Crawford's "When You Think About Me" peaked at #14 in France. Angela didn't chart.

This was a pretty good track. I'm surprised it didn't break through here in the U.S.

A bop! I remember this came out around the time I started learning French in school. Me and my friends were trying to sing it with the right pronunciation to try and improve lol

This was a pretty good track. I'm surprised it didn't break through here in the U.S. The song was never released in the USA. I only heard about it when she preformed the song at the World Music Awards show when it was still broadcast on US TV. I had to buy a Import cd because her cd was never released & the song never got a US radio add date to pop radio. youtu.be/zfXBNQMj2SEL'Aize 2nd follow up song was just as good too! youtu.be/gRaRdAYO9II
