Though never a hit, this song gained a lot of MTV attention. Particularly for the dress, if you could call it that, she wears in the video.
I love the song to death. Hugely underrated.

I loved it. Funky as anything. She got a lot of heads to turn. Prince worked on her new album due out later this year.

While I love this song, it's definitely not her best. But, it is innovative and groovy so it's not a bad song to be known for.
My favorite song by her is Push and Pull....I love the slowness of it and then it unleashes a huge rocking ending. Beautiful song.
Can't wait for a new Nikka album!

I loved this, I thought for a while it was gonna blow up. I think it was getting airplay in France; I was over there the same year this was out.

I'm surprised it took so long for someone to come here who hated it. However, I'm on the side who loves this song. I heard good things about her album, maybe if I heard a couple more songs, I'd consider that one. I only heard "Everybody's Got Their Something" one time, so I don't remember it.

Bloody awful... glad she flopped. She scared me and my friends at the time.

This song should have blown up. This track was irresistably funky, and the video was cool. I hope she does better the second time around.

This track is funktastic. I really like her style. "Push and Pull" from the Blow soundtrack and "I Don't Think We've Met" are good too.

The song started off at a great start with tons of adds on both Urban and Pop radio then al of a sudden it flopped. I still hear on that Hitline channel on the DISH network when I go work out, where I heard it the most in 2001 as if it was already a huge hit. It's a moderate decent song.

I remember seeing this a lot on MTV. I'm surprised it flopped, no record of it on any radio chart let alone the Hot 100

This is so funky. It's a shame it didn't blow up.

Just watched the video for this. It seems like such a star making moment, lol. Right out of the gate with a kick-ass attention getting song and video. And then "poof!"... nothing.
Listening to this again, it's still hot as hell, but the vocal distortion irks me. I think it would have been hotter with a more forceful vocal.

Nikka deserved better. Her first two albums (as an adult) are so good.
