Brings me back memories of 1996! Well, actually it was released in 1995. I don't like the remix as much. Heavy D produced and rapped on the record just as well. The album Moods...Moments was probably her best work after that was downhill IMO.

I miss Monifah. I had an opportunity to met her and see her perform back in 2000. I think that she was an underrated talent, who got lost in the shuffle of R&B powerhouse divas of her heyday. "I Miss You" is one of my favs from the mid-1990's and brings back some good memories for me too.
I also liked "I Can Tell" the video was fire.

Ah Great R&B song! So refreshing! I loved this song.
I miss Monifah as well. I sympathize with her life story, she has had a rough life.

"I Miss You" is her best single. I also prefer the album version over the remix.

It's still a great song.
I believe it samples Mary Jane Girls' "All Night Long".
Everytime I play this song I think about the restaurant scene in the Halle Berry movie "B.A.P.S." lol.

I though Monifah only had one hit ("Touch It"). Didn't know this existed until recently. This must had gotten airplay on WGCI and now-defunct 106 Jams (if they hadn't flipped to Gospel at this point). This sounds good. music video youtu.be/o2-SZPJ0wMs

I was playing this song earlier today. This was featured on New York Undercover in January 1996. I used to hear this on 92.3 The Beat in late 1995/early 1996.
