Evelyn is definitely more known for her disco smashes like "Shame," "Love Come Down," "I Don't Know If It's Right," and "I'm In Love," but this aching ballad from 1981 is a definite highlight in her ballad output. It hit #28 R&B.

I love Evelyn and I really like this. I have one of her greatest hit cds and this is on there, but I wish BMG would reissue her first album.

I have both of her GH CDs and I do not like this song, I skip it everytime.

it's a great performance, good song for anyone who's serious about R&B ballads
