From the "Spark" movie/album crafted by Curtis Mayfield, Aretha took this to #17 Black singles; En Vogue did a cover of this on "Funky Divas", as well as a cover of "Giving Him Something He Can Feel" also from "Sparkle". The latter became a huge hit (as it was for Aretha) but they didn't release "Hooked On Your Love". However I feel it could have been a huge hit as well, it's awesome.

I like it. "Something He Can Feel" is much better, and I'm referring to Aretha's because I think En Vogue's cover is horrible.

I like this, but "Giving Him Something He Can Feel" is better. I much prefer Aretha's version of this song, but on GHSHCF, I think En Vogue is actually on par with the original.

I was in love with song song when i was younger and had the Funky Divas album. "Giving him something he can feel" was an AMAZING cover, one of the best ever. Dawn tore that song up and the video still makes the most sexy video list on VH1!
