This song was featured on Chante’s album “This Moment Is Mine” as well as the soundtrack to “For the Love of the Game.” Diane Warren wrote the song and Guy Roche produced. This is a classic “friends turn lovers” ballad that may be my all time favorite duets. Both singers are vocally at their very best on this song…especially in the final chorus. I spin this at dances and weddings and the response is amazing. I believe the song was supposed to be released after “Chante’s Got a Man” but MCA Records ended up halting promotion. A huge missed opportunity if you ask me...this song is an absolute gem!

Great song!
My friend who is a HUGE Chante Moore fan got a promo video of the song (off Ebay I believe) a few years ago.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! What a song! I just rediscovered this one. Chante Moore needs to get Kenny and remake this, and re-release it today! Damn, she's so vocally talented. And she has the best, and most tolerable whistle in the industry. This song still has potential to be huge if someone re-records it!

Been listening to her albums all day and it made me realized how criminally underrated she really is as an artist. I love how her first two albums had a jazzy soul feel to them like Sade and Anita Baker.
