Hide And Seek
Another recording of New Edition's song from their 1984 LP, and yes it was released (Five Star's) as a single, I have the original 12", unfortunately it charted nowhere. Video clip on BET in 1984
Crazy Released as a single, again uncharted, also a video clip on BET. This is the first song that made me take notice of them, and I was wondering why did not recieve intial radio airplay, a number of my peers used jam to this thanks to BET. Yet it was not until the summer of 1985 when I was hugely excited not knowing who they were and where they from that I heard this on the radio just weeks after it was featured on Video Soul....
All Fall Down
Peak #14 R&R Urban Chart #59 Billboard Pop A Nick Martinelli production
Let Me Be The One
I thought for sure it was going to be a number one R&B hit on the week of my golden birthday, but it stalled at number two for only two weeks.
Produced by Nick Martinelli
Love Take Over
#9 Billboard R&B
Excellent song!
System Addict
Poppy UK release single peaking at number 3, their seond biggest UK hit.
R.S.V.P. #45 UK
A moderate song but not too exciting.
The Rest:
Say Goodbye (a nice ballad) Now I'm In Control (a poppy midtempo song) Winning (great track that listening to this morning)

Me too. I remember it charted on Top 40 Satellite Survey, which I used to listen to occasionally in late 1985. I thought it was so/so, but their song that just missed the Top 40 a year later, "Can't Wait Another Minute" was much better.

This album had so many great UK hits. Nick Martinelli was a production beast at this time. It's a shame they didn't have the same level of success they did in the UK in the US.
