The label can't afford that much money for the flop project.
I think it might have a little push at first but now it is standing on its own.
As for her download, I think it is doing fine. Not every artist become a Download King/Queen anyway.

Why is she so low on Itunes? It makes me feel like the success of this song is from Payola because her sales are pretty low to be such a airplay hit. Low on itunes? Payola? She might never made the itunes top 10 "list" but that was only because she had like 3 versions charting. I remind you that it was #9 on the digital sales list last week. She also NEVER performed this on a big show like AI. She did Ellen but the show's audience is like 2 million ... not enough to give it a big boost. 600k so far for a 3rd single from an album that came out a year ago. Is that bad sales? ... Um, think again! ;) And lol @ the payola "sting" ... I love how some can't stand the success of this song! I remember Justin's last single didn't enter the top 15 sales chart until he got the chance to perform the song at the grammys ... and that one was a hit on pop & rhythmic. Was his success payola too? I don't think we saw her peak on sales yet, anyway! ;)

Pink is so much like Kelly they should really get together and do something! Referring to her iTunes stuff, Kelly was never a digital queen either. Its better to have a SMASH LONGEVITY song like Kelly likes doing as well as Pink with all her past hits than peaking on some digital chart really large for 1 week then plummet.
All about longevity and this song has simply too much longevity! So awesome! I wonder where this will end up on the year end in a few months.

This song is a smash anyway you put it. It went top 10 on the Hot 100 already which was deemed impossible months ago. Looks like it's going top 2 on POP. And the downloads are alright. American Idol is coming up next week so she might see a sales boost.
But anyways, I'm so ready for Who Knew. Bring it back baby.

Her biggest hit from I`m Not Dead in Europe! :)

I agree with SAY IT RIGHT. I think its payola. A song that is almost #1 on Pop radio should be Top 3 in downloads.

Please. Pink isn't a big seller and the song didn't have heavy promotion. It sold over 500k and peaked, so far, at 9 at the Digital Songs chart. Pretty good. Not that Gym Class Heroes, the actual number 1, sold much more. Don't try to dismerit the song and its success by saying it was payola. It's all sorts of wrong, as radio play isn't exactly what makes people buy stuff, as Lloyd's You, Ciara's Promise, Paula DeAnda's Walk Away, Diddy's Last Night and many others can testify.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bit of Payolla initially, just to give the song a boost. But once it took off, it's doing all of this smashin on it's own now.

^yea initially, but unless they are sending out money every week, it doesnt add up. This song is big. people need to deal with it. Pink is back on radio.

I agree with SAY IT RIGHT. I think its payola. A song that is almost #1 on Pop radio should be Top 3 in downloads. NOT if its fricken 25 weeks old, like you love to say NEXT People love the song, they love requesting it (speaking of that re-entry to #4 on our top 8 at 8 countdown program tonight!) and its bullet is really the delayed radio reaction to the FANS of this song that never gave up and kept requesting it and radio actually giving it a fair chance. Its is possible to have a song go to the top with its primary driving force being requests and radio play not iTunes, label, promo, DD's or any of that corporate stuff. RARE but it happens! The thing other than requests that really revived it though was the tour. It started increasing again once it starting hitting alot of tour sites. Dr Luke said it, I said it, tons said it 'WAIT FOR THE TOUR' and guess what, it happened.

And also remember- there probably is out-and-out sending $ to radio stations- there are promotions, incentives, etc. etc.
The track has sold just fine. I mean, look at the album- it's had a good comeback, but it's near the top of the chart or anything.

One look on itunes and you can see that the songs ahead of the "Hand" are either new releases or songs/artists that got promoted on AI. Television exposure is the new power for digital sales. Unfortunately Pink never got the chance to perform this on a big show! Hopefully her "Who Knew" performance next week will help the 'Hand" sales increase too. The song has sold and still selling good, anyway ... 600k and counting! I am sure it will sell more in the next few weeks so let the haters do their job! I can't wait to see the song landing @ #1! Go Alecia!

#13 +171 on Hot AC and I counted at least 5-6 new AC stations that started spinning the song today!

I don't think there's payola in this case (or at least not a lot of it)
Compare that to Gallery which peaked @ #6 on Top 40 Mainstream and peaked @ #31 in Sales Last week U + Ur Hand was @ #5 on Top 40 Mainstream and #9 on Sales
The difference between the two for U + Ur Hand isn't that big and is relatively reasonable imo (whereas Pop airplay and Sales were like day and night with Gallery, and more telling of possibly being payola)
