She couldn't, they wouldn't let her. They said if she was to do UUH it had to be censored and Pink said she'd much rather song something else than butcher her own song.

Actually, wasn't the record 26 weeks, set by "Save Tonight" by Eagle-Eye Cherry?

Using Top 50 weeks (which aren't official anymore), Pink hit #1 in her 26th week... it's all very confusing.

Billboard: Pink returns to the top of the CHR/Top 40 radio chart for the first time in five years as U + Ur Hand jumps 4-1 in its 23rd chart week. The song's methodical climb to the summit is the longest in the list's history, besting the 21-week stroll by Jewel's "You Were Meant for Me" in 1997 and Eagle-Eye Cherry's "Save Tonight" in 1999 ... Pink last led the CHR/Top 40 chart with "Don't Let Me Get Me" in May 2002, making her five-year gap between No. 1s the fourth-longest by a lead artist. Mariah Carey's eight-year, four-month span between "One Sweet Day" in 1996 and "We Belong Together" in 2005 remains the longest.

I'm still confused, lol. So is the 23 weeks thing from Billboard, not Mediabase?
Actually, come to think of it, it wouldn't matter since it hit #1 in its 23rd week on both Mediabase Top 40 and Billboard, right...?

Awesome. I would have hoped her Idol performance would have helped this song out as well but it's proving not to be.

I think it did ... Not much, but it did. It's #15 but the next 4 songs are on the same popularity and #10 (Bon Jovi) is on its way down. The song is still gaining on radio so I think it still has a good chance to make the top 10 at some point. Unfortunately, they didn't let her perform her smash! It would definitely be a different story if she was allowed to perform the "Hand". But it's ok ... "Who Knew" got some good promo/downloads and it will help the song on the long run! It's all good, I guess. :)

Of course it is. I really want WK to take off. I REALLY want it to. More so than the Hand, as I love it more, and that's saying something as the Hand was a huge favorite of mine.

Actually, wasn't the record 26 weeks, set by "Save Tonight" by Eagle-Eye Cherry? "Save Tonight" reached #1 in its 22nd week in the R&R top 40.

^Ah, I see.
It might be too early to make any predictions, but I have a feeling this could end up being the number one song of 2007. That's cool, since I'm really starting to like this song. Sure beats the hell out of that revolting Gym Class Heroes ripoff of "Breakfast In America".

I am really happy for an artist like Pink to have a song that is #1, really great for her and her fanbase as she missed the top 10 for about five years it seemed, not to mention this album is getting great reviews.
However, I think this is one of her worst songs, and she has had much better. Of any of her songs, I can't believe it's #1, let alone Top 10. But congrats.

Total AI: 66.606 million! +1.5m from yestgerday! +6.5 m from the same day of last week! SUPER HAND! it's even greater cos: pink's bullet is 503 and avril's bullet is 776 there used to be around 400 difference now it s less so hope avril's bullet drops more and pink's increase more so she can stay on top longer

I think, the bullet difference doesn't say much ... people pay way too much attention on bullets but what really matters is the songs daily gains. The difference in spins was around 700 at the start of the week. A little bit more than 600 now ... Avril is gaining on Pink but very little ... well, for now. I think she will have a hard time to push her out of the #1 spot next week. I see Pink staying there at least 3 weeks.
