Some of the rawest lyrics not seen since... well ever! I remember all my SG buddies always chanted "All you loved was Mel B's money"!
The lyrics are very universal but I think it's about her ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar! There was also rumors that Jimmy was gonna do a song to respond to "Tell Me"! Sadly, that did not happen.
I don't get it, "Tell Me" was a big #4 hit and people said it flopped! I don't get why people diss Mel B's lyrics too.. I would like to see them write a song like "Tell Me"!
"Think I would be a fool/I now see through you/And you're the fool/How do you feel when you see me/I disregard you/There's someone new/And that's true"!
CLASSIC song! I use to hate it! Now it's one of the most enjoyable songs! Go Mel B and the vagina monolouges!

I always REALLY liked this song, but it was obvious that everyone wanted Mel B (as well as the other Spice Girls) to fail, so it would have been called a flop unless it had hit #1.
Yeah the lyrics are great, and I thought the video was pretty slick as well.

My absolute favorite Spice Girl. I bought this album and I definitely was not disappointed. I never got to see the video but I did order the single online recently and it has the video on it so I will get to see it soon

I purchased this album or got it as an import? I don’t remember? I didn’t listen to it that much?? I don’t know why? In the last 3 years I rediscovered this album and this is definitely one of my top 3 tracks from a pretty good debut cd. Is this produced by Rodney Jerkins? It sounds like his stuff I love?
