I don't like this song, especially the album version. It's possibly my least favorite single by her. The remix is alright, which is how it got to #2 at Urban.

I personally thought "Bennie and The Jets" could have been used for a better purpose, considering it was a pretty big r&b hit in the 70s, but this ain't bad.

How does Number 2 on Urban only get you Number 63 on the Billboard Hot 100? There must have been a lot of singles for songs with less audience than her.

I don't know what the Singles Sales chart was like back then. The two songs I know sold a lot of singles then were "Heartbreaker" and "I'm Gonna Love You Forever." "I'm Gonna Love You Forever" got to Number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 but I don't know if it had any more audience than "Deep Inside." "Music Of My Heart" also sold singles. I don't remember knowing that the Backstreet Boys, Britney, or Christina sold a lot of singles at that time. "I Knew I Loved You" and "That's The Way It Is" are by artists who I don't think are famous for singles sales. Now I remember I bought the "U Know What's Up" single but that was a big airplay hit also.

I like it! Good usage of the sample! I like the remix too, although Hot 97 never played it in regular rotation, only during "mix" shows.

It's not among her best, but I could tolerate it.

One of my many favorites from Mary. In addition to the original, I love the Hex Hector club mix.

Mary did the "Bennie & The Jets" interpolation justice.
The "Sincerity" dance break in the music video was pretty awesome.
