This five year old track from the Romeo Must Die soundtrack is going to double as the lead single from her double disc album due out soon. I'm not sure if it's remixed or anything. Promos are out and on mIRC.

I love this song but why would they choose it? she has a lot of songs that would make more sense to make a single :)

Think about it, they have to pick from throw-away tracks and album cuts to get good vocals--- so their best options are tracks that weren't throw-aways but that a lot of people didn't know. I lay money they'll mix the beat up, maybe even a lot. It's a good song!

The promo also contains [my FAVORITE] "I Don't Wanna" from the "Romeo Must Die" and "Next Friday" soundtracks, as well as the Bump N Flex Club Mix of "More Than A Woman," and the "Try Again" Krunchie Mix. They should just leave the girl alone.

whoa... I loved this song back then. Me too...but this is too damn old to be releasing. Let her rest! They should've just put out a remix album for her.

They should just leave the girl alone. Word. I like this song, but come on! Let her legacy be her legacy. If there's nothing else that's new (to the fans, of course), fresh and unheard of, they need to let her be. I agree with Jay about the remix album thing, though. I think that would've been a worthy release. She had a lot of good remixes from the Aaliyah and One In A Million albums. But even that isn't completely necessary.

I'll pick it up if the remixes are in longform and not radio edits.
I have a question for those who picked up the Aaliyah (Special Edition w/DVD). What was included on the DVD disc? Was it interviews and stuff?

They'll end up remixing it. Plus it sounds like NOTHING on the radio now. It'll be a good change. =)

Didn't "I Care 4 U" contain most of her singles *with the exception of about four or so* and remixes are pretty boring so whats the point in this album?
Isn't there going to be a proper album of unreleased material or an album where other artists sing songs she was meant to or duet with her on unfinished songs????

Hey, sorry I'm not starting a new thread about this... but i don't know much about the song..... for a couple of months now, Windows Media has on their site, a supposed "Last Aaliyah Single" called Don't Know What to Tell Ya...
Where is this song featured?? is it supposed to be released? or has it been already? the song is hot!

This is a good song, but it's horrible how they're still trying to suck money out of her legacy. It's downright shameful. They need to make one box set of her singles, a couple notable remixes, and her better unreleased material and have it done with. They're turning Aaliyah into the next 2pac, and she deserves so much better than that.
