I don't remember where did I hear this track from... This track came out in 2000 and was only released in the UK... I believe... What's so catchy about this track was the fact that the song sounded like "...Baby One More Time"/"Oops!...I Did It Again"... It turned out that Max Martin and Rami did not write the track (not sure about producing though)... I was trying to see if I could download the song earlier tonight, but nothing came up... yeah, for some reason, this song just popped up in my head tonight... Anyone remembered this track? The song went like "Bye bye baby, and I don't want you back... Read my lips....... *something like that*... Oooohh bye bye baby, and I don't want you back... now I find out where/what you're really at... I don't want you back."

If ever there was a song i didn't expect to be posted about on here....
Probably one of the most underrated pop songs of 2002. It only made #50 in the UK. It did get to about #12 in Australia though.
I like all Ellie's singles, but she never took off. She's long been dropped now.

I remember seeing some advertisements for her in TOTP magazines. She looked pretty. I think she was with Zomba or Jive or something. I don't think she ever had an album.
I remember listening to the song on her website or something and I didn't really like it.

She does have an album actually, it's in my local HMV. I'm always semi tempted to buy it, lol, nobody else will.

I don't like buying albums off Ebay & stuff. It's sad, but I like to think when I buy a CD i'm contributing to that artists success. And god knows Ellie Campbell probably needs the money these days....

I don't think buying an album that old will result in any cash flow for the artist.
Anyway, it did make the Aussie charts but I am pretty sure it didn't make it to #12 let alone the top 20. Looking at some archives I believe it peaked at #45 and spent 4 weeks in the top 50.
I actually bought the single LOL. It was a very catchy poppy song that was very much like Britney. I don't think she released a 2nd single in Australia but they did attempt to promote her. I thought she looked like a bitch. She did a cover of some song, I think it's called You're No Good. I'll have to get the single out, I liked that song! I remember the single has an interview with her on it and I like her accent saying 'hello this is Ellie Campbell'
