I have always thought that it was by a black group, however actually they were all white. I like a number of their songs, but I think this one stands out. The great thing is that the song just about fits everyone who has that "love power".

Great song... it was sampled in "On A Sunday Afternoon" by A Lighter Shade Of Brown.
I also love their other big hit "Good Lovin'".

"Groovin'" reminds me of when Shadoe Stevens said it was sampled in "Knockin' Boots" by Candyman and played a drop of it.
