Good song....funny I haven't heard that in 40 forevers...that song came out in 1978 and was a big hit in the top 5 back then. It was also a title track of a movie that starred Richard Pryor. Which Way Is Up was written and produced by the same man that brought you Car Wash, Norman Whitfield. A great song to boogie to.

That's the same one. He was also responsible for other Motown hits during the mid 60s to late 70s.

Got to #21 on Billboard's Hot 100 in early 1978 and was a #1 R&B hit for 2 weeks.
Terrific funky jam, still sounds good today.

Good disco track. My earliest memory of this song is not the original itself but a 90s dance record that sampled the beginning drum loop. "I Can't Help Myself" by 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor.
