does anybody know what happend to these three artist. i loved their first releases and than i haven't heard from them since
tasmin archer - sleeping satellites- i think this song was from 1994. it hit the tp five on my personal chart and i never heard from her again
mono - life in mono - this song was off the great expectations soundtrack. great song but haven't heard from her since.
frente - bizaare love triangle - this was a remake of a duran duran song. it was a very short song i remember but i absolutely loved it.

I have Tasmin Archer's "Sleeping Satellite" in my MP3 collection but I don't know happened to these artists. :(

Tasmin Archer is coming out with a new album soon from what I understand. In fact, she still has a website, www.tasminarcher.net. Apparently she's still an R & B sensation in the UK. I think Frente may have broken up, as for any links that came up while running a Yahoo! search led to pages that no longer exist. I remember the "Great Expectations" movie, but I don't remember Mono. |

"Sleeping Satellite" came out in 1992 and was a #1 on the British charts. It peaked in the teens on the American pop chart in 1993. Great song. I still have the single.

I just checked out Tasmin's twitter page. She's posted stuff as of Dec. 10, so she's still active, but it didn't seem like she had anything much of substance to say.

Mono was actually a duo; I still have their CD! We played Life In Mono and followup single Slimcea Girl on pulsemusic.com. They also did the Lilith Fair for a time.
