I've listened more and more and this is good stuff. I don't care how over the top the production is - great song.

This song is not tearing it up or anything, but I am pleased to see it should be Top 40 relatively soon. I think it has potential to really be a slow builder and end up very, very close to the T20 when it's all said and done. And that would be a great start for her, I think.

Actually, here're all the peaks in chronological order:
"I Will Be There for You" #28 "You Go First (Do You Wanna Kiss)" #25 "Unbreakable Heart" #24 "I Do Now" #53 "Who I Am" #1 "Helplessly, Hopelessly" #31 "Karma" #47 "There's More to Me Than You" #17 "Good Time" #49 "All I Ever Needed" (w/ Bret Michaels) #45 "The Marrying Kind" - didn't chart "Summer Girl" 46

I posted them in order of peak. I missed "Summer Girl" and did not mention the Bret Michaels song.

Is that true or did it actually have a few weeks as a released single?

^^ I was going to post the same, which was sad because it was MILES better than Summer Girl.
And Helplessly Hopelessly deserved top 10. That's one of my favorite songs EVER.

Up from 47 to 45 on the 1/24 charts. I still dislike the song greatly and can't see it growing on me.

I agree that it seems like Jessica has fared better at radio than she actually has. I thought "There's More To Me Than You" (both versions) were really great songs that deserved to be big hits. I never understood how "Good Time" (the follow up single) tanked as badly as it did. It was a great summer song, released at the perfect time of year. That killed any momentum that the album Now may have had. If I remember rightly, "When Gentry Plays Guitar" was supposed to be the third single, but they stopped promotion on the album when "Good Time" flopped.
As for "Everything", I don't really like it, but I'll hope it can go top 30 so she gets a shot at releasing something else (hopefully a better song).

I really wanted "Cowboy Guarantee" released from Now. That was such a great song.

I love this. I thought the last album was kind of a mish mash of music and it never really flowed all that well as an album. Who I Am and Heart Shaped World were EXCELLENT albums and deserved much better. I always thought they should have released Heart Shaped World as a single. I hope this song makes it high enough for another single and whole album. She is one of my favorite females.

I like "Now" the most of her previous records. I thought "Good Time" would have been a Top 20 hit for her, but "the big single that never was" was probably "I Wish For You". It has the "I Wish"/"I Hope You Dance"/"Who I Am" vibe and would have resonated well with listeners. My favorite track off the album, however, was "When Gentry Plays Guitar". She NAILED it vocally.
As for this song, it keeps chugging along. Top 40 in 2 weeks, maybe?

As for this song, it keeps chugging along. Top 40 in 2 weeks, maybe? This might eventually crack the T40, but I think it has a longer wait ahead of it that that. There will only likely be 4 spots open up in the next 2 weeks (RF, Sugarland, Brad/Keith, Joey/Rory). The likely T40 entrants are RF (should debut in the T40 this week), Craig Morgan, Zac Brown Band, and either Adam Gregory, Jamie O'Neal, or Montgomery Gentry. Jessica is probably 8th in line to hit the T40 at the moment (Lady A will also get there before her).

I am really disappointed in this song's chart run. It had a good start and then fizzled out.
Hopefully she gets a second single.

This song is really better than this. I feel like Jessica has never received the credit she deserves, she's had some amazing songs, this one included.

New Video for song - Jessica Andrews - "Everything" (Unplugged Version) She sounds terrific, but I got bored really easily. I would've liked it alot more as an mp3, I think.

well she looks and sounds great! yes it is boring, however I think the intent was to not have something big and extravagant.

I'm surprised this peaked at #45. I wasn't expecting it to be a big hit, but by the way it started I thought it would at least make the top 40. I wonder if she'll get another single.
