Our Hot AC the Peak 107.3 switched yesterday to classic rock. Before Hot AC they were a CHR station. Old music is really taking over this city and it sucks although I can handle classic rock more than I use to be able to.
Here is a list of our mostly blah stations: 88.9 - Christian CHR 92.1 - Active Rock (they seem to playing more classic rock) 95.9 - AC 96.9 - Classic Hits :( 98.5 - Urban 101.? - Classic Hits (just outside of Calgary) 103.1 - Smooth Jazz/AC or should I say AC/Smooth Jazz...it might be ok if they actually played more Jazz. 105.? - Country 107.3 - Classic Rock
Definitely need more new music here!

Wow. Thank God im not there! I'd go INSANE From what has been posted here, Canadian markets don't have as many radio stations as in the United States. Are there noncommercial stations in other countries? The noncommercial frequencies in the United States are not reserved for noncommercial stations in Canada and Mexico.
