I was sh*t bored with "Happy" and found it terribly inferior to Bleeding Love so I wasn't really interested in the album. However, I finally listened to the entire thing and I'm happy with what I heard. I actually think there are more stronger songs here than in Spirit.  Count me in the "Outta My Head as a single" fanclub. |

1.Happy - 5/10. Gotta give her credit for effort, but there were definitely better songs to release from this album. Boring to me.
2. I Got You - 8/10. Love her voice on this!
3. Can't Breathe - 9/10. I didn't like the beginning, but toward the end of the 1st verse and the chorus it does a 180 and becomes amazing. Vocals are amazing.
4. Brave - 7/10. Listenable. Sounds like something off an animated movie soundtrack.
5. Outta My Head - 9/10. My first time listening to it. Love it. Much more electronic than I imagined it would be. Better be a single. I'd never guess Max Martin produced this.
6. My Hands - 6/10. IMO, nothing special. Good vocals tho.
7. Love Letter - 9/10. Nice song. A little uptempo. Nice to hear something different from her. Looks like this song is gonna be underrated by alot of people. Sounds like a KC song almost.
8. Broken - 8/10. Great song. Vocals amazing. Production almost reminds me of 'Run'...almost.
9. Naked - 9/10. Rock on Leona! Definitely different from all her other songs. Production is great.
10. Stop Crying Your Heart Out. 9/10. Definitely think this is very close to 'Run'. Would be the spitting image if she didn't sing in such a low voice until half the song was over. Love it though! Kind of an angry dark feel to it.
11. Don't Let Me Down - 8/10. Starts out kinda meh until all of a sudden the beat kicks in...AH! Much better. Good song. Interesting production.
12. Alive - 8.5/10. Looks like another track that will be underrated. I love it. A ballad, but doesn't remind me of any other she has done.
13. Lost Then Found - 7.5/10. I actually think it would sound better as just Leona.
Overall defintiely a better album than Spirit. There is a good mix of uptempo, midtempo, and ballads. And the ballads don't all sound the same. Great job Leona! i wasn't gonna buy it, but I have changed my mind now.
I really really hope Happy's flopness doesn't prevent the 2nd single or the album from performing well. The rest of the album is much better. Happy doesn NOT display the great variety that is actually on the album.

Can't Breathe is my absolute favourite, I'm actually taking a break from listening to it incase I burn it out.
Love Letter has grown on me majorly, Its gone from a 7 to around a 8/8.5 for me now.

When she sings "just can't breathe" at 3:02 she sounds EXACTLY like MC lolz. Then she sounds like X-tina when she sings "I'm comin up, comin up..." at 3:10.

"Can't Breathe" is really good and it's very R&B-ish.
i honestly didn't know if her voice would sound singing those kind of songs but after hearing that song all my doubts were put to rest.

Silly me I was wondering why that track was so long. Her vocals are good, but it took too long for the beat to pick up and I kind of lost interest. I can see this song being on a movie soundtrack. I give it a 7/10.

Wow, this album is so much stronger as a whole than Spirit. I think there's only 2 filler tracks this time (My Hands and Alive), opposed to half the album being filler like with Spirit. Can't Breathe, Outta My Head, I Got You, Naked, and Broken are amazing. Love Letter, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, and Don't Let Me Down are all great as well. And I still love Happy.

So...I was really disappointed with Happy since it's so boring.
I was hoping for something amazing from Leona this time around after listening to Take a Bow, Forgive Me, and Run.
I have only heard Let It Rain, Can't Breathe, Don't Let Me Down, and Stop Crying Your Heart Out.
Can't Breathe is AMAZING! I was surprised at how good it gets during the middle and end of the song since the beginning didn't hook me. Love that song.
Let It Rain shouldn't have been a b-side but included on the album itself!
I am looking forward to hearing that somewhat dancey track on Echo.
The album so far sounds like something I'd be willing to purchase as opposed to Spirit.
Hope this sells well for her. :)

Broken is the best song on the album and probably the best she has ever recorded its sounds like she's got a whole Russian army Cossack choir going off.
Outta my Head is a great slice of electro pop, its doesn't fit with the album as a whole at all.
I think its only there to show those that criticize her that if she wanted to do that kind of stuff she could blow just as easily.
She's a big film buff and she was going for a full on cinematic surround sound, she certainly achieved it on tracks like Broken and Lost and Found.
I can't imagine how she would sing Broken live, it would need a full orchestra and choir, something that maybe only American Idol has the facilities for.

Can't Breathe is my favourite song on the whole album but commercial it should really be IGY or OMH as the next singles.
