Me too - and it applies to both songs for me. I'm really nervous about I Do Not Hook Up being the second single - but I can't fully judge it until i've heard Kelly's version.

Holy crap, 16 songs?! Wow, she is really giving us our money's worth! And I'm glad Ready is on the album. Close Your Eyes was my favorite of the demo's, but Ready was a close second.

The only demo I listened to was 'If No One Will Listen' earlier today. So for me every song on the album except that one will be totally new. I will only know Kelly's versions, and am so excited the album drop is only one more month away.

There was a song title floating around the tens of fake lists called "Love Like U Never Been Hurt Before". I really liked that title and was really hoping it would be on the CD. Oh well.

"Already Gone," "Cry," "Save You," and "Ready" will be incredible, I just know. I have no idea what to expect of "I Do Not Hook Up" and "Long Shot". I heard both of the demos and they sound pretty rough with Katy's voice (this is just personal as I cringe when I hear Perry's voice for some reason). There's just something about "I Do Not Hook Up" that when I read the lyrics, it reminded me of the same lyrical structure as "Walk Away". I wasn't at all surprised to heard Dioguardi wrote on it.

Can't wait for this! Is anyone going to wait until the release to listen to the whole CD or are you guys going to listen to the leaks first?

Just occurred to me - do you think they'll have bonus tracks if we buy from iTunes or some other site? Also, imagine if there are bonus tracks from other countries. Damn! By the end of this era, we can have about 20 new Kelly songs. That'll be super awesome!

will most casual music buyers know they were recorded by someone else? I wouldn't know if I hadn't read it online. None of these artists are mainstream nor readily available as far as I can tell. To most, these will be original songs by Kelly.

If No One Will Listen is a beautiful song. I'm interested to hear how Kelly sings it.

I'm going to take a guess and say that Kelly is the producer, or one of the producers of "Cry".

I am REALLY effin confused here about the songs being demos or covers?

I was under the assumption that they were demos....but I keep reading covers.....which is it please?

I never saw the songs as covers....

It will be interesting to see what is done with Ready with hearing the demo of that.
I personally liked more stripped down material and it will be interesting to see how they re worked it for the album.

Chica, covers are songs that have been released commercially. Of the 16 songs only 3 were released commercially and they are the two Aranda songs and "If No One Will Listen". The others are demo's which are songs that were recorded either fully or roughly and have never been released commercially.
I hope my explanation is understandable. :)

The good news about this update is that only 289 spins now separate MLWS and LYL in the #8 spot. Yesterday 556 spins separated them, so MLWS gained 267 on the #8 spot in 24 hours. The semi-bad news is that, due to the slowdown in MLWS's rate of spin gain, it probably won't move into #8 until Saturday.
