Spends its 18th week in the Top 50 at #8. This makes Circus her 10th biggest song in terms of CHR longevity. 1. BOMT - 32 weeks 2. Womanizer - 22 weeks 3. Toxic - 21 weeks 4. Piece Of Me - 21 weeks 5. Oops! - 20 weeks 6. Everytime - 20 weeks 7. You Drive Me (Crazy) - 20 weeks 8. Sometimes - 20 weeks 9. Circus - 18 weeks10. Break The Ice - 18 weeks 'Circus' could very well end up with 20+ weeks on the chart. :) Interesting tidbit: On top of all of her singles with #4 peaks spending 4, 3, and 2 weeks at #4 respectively, they all spent 20 weeks on the chart as well. :o Interesting tidbit #2: If you combine all of the weeks her singles spent on the Top 40, Britney has spent 6.6 years inside the CHR Top 50. :o Ironically enough, Womanizer was #18 in its 18th week like circus. I just hope this doesn't tumble as fast. Womanizer have about 5 more weeks after that. I am hoping she can clear 24weeks (6 whole months) like I predicted (and fell short of for Womanizer)

By what you and I are going by, WMNZR was #46 its first week inside the chart, making its 18th week on the chart #5. If we're counting it's first week inside the chart at #27, then WMNZR was #8 its 18th week. If we're going by the first set of standards, then this is indeed Circus' 18th week on the chart, with it being #50 it's first week. If we're going by #2, this is it's 17th week on the chart. Does this make sense to people? In the simplest terms, I calculated Brit's top singles by longevity using www2.uta.edu/hunt/charts/bspears.html, which includes being #41-#50 as being "on the chart". If we're going by how many weeks in the Top 40, then just subtract a number. The placements in the top 10 are the same.

so now that some songs are 69 cents or whatever can't the label have some kind of download special for If U Seek Amy and have it for 69 cents for a week or two? i wish they were that smart.. i know it won't be long before matthew knowles sets up a "ME MYSELF AND I" download 69 cent download week. lol

That will be so low if labels start lowering the price of a song for a week or so just to increase sales. It's like the whole Loverboy thing with Mariah where after it was flopping they made the single dirt cheap so they could manipulate the charts and get her another top two hit. Can't stand that kind of stuff.

This song was featured tonight in American Idol. The contestants sang it in the Ford commercial.

"Circus" was historic for Britney. It just shows you how after such hard times, you can have comeback they way she did.
