I can't believe it looks like 3 weeks to the day it was first played on radio, this song will enter the top 10. :o
To any of you radio gurus out there, is this some kind of record? I don't ever remember a song rising so fast into the top 10.

no it is not a record, there have been plenty of songs that have risen to the Top 10 in their 2nd and 3rd weeks.

This will pretty much slow down once it gets to Top 10. All or most of those songs have a positive bullet.

Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You jumped into the top 10 on her second week (granted, it was a different scoring system then, but that is what you have to go by when comparing charts). Madonna's This Used To Be My Playground also entered the top 10 on its 3rd week. Same for Boyz II Men's End of the Road. For more recent ones, take *N Sync's Bye Bye Bye, which entered the top 10 in its 3rd week on the chart. The same for *N Sync's Pop. Other songs have taken 4 weeks like Christina Aguilera's Beautiful and Lady Marmalade or Eminem's Lose Yourself. I also think T.I.'s latest songs had very fast rises into the top 10 (perhaps 4 weeks). |

There are 39 spins separating My Life Would Suck Without You and I'm Yours (which is decreasing). If Kelly isn't #10 tomorrow something is seriously wrong with this situation. lol I wish these updates weren't so sporadic.

The bullet isn't negative. Infact, 991 is a very positive bullet LOL. "-153 Bullet" means that it gained 153 spins less than it did on this day last week. It was gaining like crazy last week, so this is not bad in any way.  |

Although I truly appreciate the daily updates posted here, I enjoy tracking songs myself using this link: www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/insideradio/charts.asp?format=1&showyear=y&dpt=nIt lets me analyze the numbers the way that suits my interests. For example, I'm more interested in how far away MLWS is from gaining the next spot or two. As of this morning's update, this song was just 39 spins out of #10. It's likely to go into the top 10 by tonight, although we probably won't see the change until tomorrow morning. MLWS will then sit in #10 for awhile.  |
