This song is chipping away at the #6 spot and is now only 320 spins away from moving up. Also, MLWS is 643 spins from the #5 spot. I wish is wasn't slowing down again, though, because every reduction in its bullet adds to the time MLWS will take to reach #5. Good news for MLWS is that 'Sober' has now peaked and is heading down. |

At the current rate it's closing on the songs above it, MLWS should go to #6 Monday or Tuesday, and should get to #5 around March 12 or 13.
As predicted, Heartless has made it to #3. Gives You Hell should go to #1 early next week, probably on Monday.
Right Round is only 94 spins out of the #8 spot. This morning, RR is 1227 spins behind MLWS. IF MLWS stablizes, RR would need roughly 20 days to pass it. So I'm hoping that MLWS doesn't slow down anymore, and even that it picks up again.

It's gonna be a nail biter it looks like! But a number 1 on pop in my book at least, is not as important as the Hot 100 number one she got, at least for this song.

So happy to see MLWS get to #6 a day or two earlier than I thought it might as of yesterday's update. It should move up to #5 sometime late next week, hopefully sooner. Based on the way the chart looks this morning, MLWS could get to #3 as soon as March 8 or 9. There are still too many variables to mathematically predict that MLWS gets to #1, BUT...the good news is that there are fewer spins, 593, separating it from the #3 spot, than the number of spins, 1137, separating RR from #7. So MLWS has a bit of breathing room to climb higher before RR gets right up behind it. RR definitely gets to #8 tomorrow. No offense to any fans of that song, but I hope it stalls there for awhile the same way MLWS did. Congratulations to A-AR on Gives You Hell getting to #1. |
