'Who Knew' is one of, in my opinion of course, the greatest songs of all-time, so nothing this era even came close for me, but I did indeed love PDLM, and I liked SW quite a bit as well.

WK is a masterpiece of a song. its so refined but raw. I think Try This had a lot of gems and I think it has her best work artistically. I think its a beautifully crafted album. I do think she has improved with every album for what she tries to do. She seems to mature and her writing is has always been top notch. Perhaps we're due for another Try This after this era.
I havent been blown away with many of her singles as much as I have other songs on the album. I think Sober is great...Who Knew obviously....Leave Me Alone (only in Aus) but I think that was pop perfection.

Id love an album with country, gospel, classic rock or 80s rock sounding stuff, some hip hop but Im livin in a dream world. lol I loved her during CTMH then fell head over feet for her with M!ss, loved that she went further and explored with TT, IND was good and same with Funhouse but I find them to be more crafted to appeal to the pop audience. I kinda want a TT but with her going outside the box from what we are used to. I love songs like Heartbreaker, This Is How It Goes down but those songs never seem to make the albums. I REALLY want new producers, Id love some old gem producers that make music for say some guy rock bands or like Mutt Lange to give her some real gems but also some new producers that can also give her some fresh new sounding tracks I also think WK is great, but those un huhs really annoy me, I feel they take away from the song, but thats just me. But that last chorus and bridge give me goosebumps EVERY TIME and makes me cry every time I hear it in concert! <3

I got tired of this song after it hit radio. I loved it when the album came out, but it got old to me quick.

Well I did think this would be bigger, but it certainly was a great sized hit anyways. I think IAFY is the only song left on the album that has a shot of doing better than this.

This one grew on me. Where I LOVE it now, I didn't love it when the album came out. I think its sadness becomes more apparent with every listen, and thus I cared about it more.

Glad this notched a new peak on The Hot 100. I hope it moves up once more because #17 is a weird number to peak at. It bothers my OCD.

Im glad it moved up but #17 is kinda disappointing but whatever. I love it and it kept the album going, Id rather that than a hit and a flop album. :) #6 on CHR is fine with me, I knew it wouldnt go #1 like some people thought. I thought itll do just as well as Sober or close. I didnt really love this when I heard her perform live it myself @ Much Music but it grew on me a lot and its one of my all time favorites from the album. IAYF will do just as well and probably better, I think it has strong verses AND chorus, which IMO will help it even more than PDLM. I really hope it gets released but I have a feeling it wont, normally one strong track is left behind, which is disappointing cause she has another radio hit waiting and it WILL continue to sell the album. It would be perfect after Funhouse if that gets released stateside. Ill keep hoping though.

It always seems her management or whatever try to go for a 'variety' of material in what she releases, rather than just releasing all the surefire hits. I guess that's why some really strong songs seemed to get overlooked in the sake of 'changing things up'. There's probably songs that could have done better than this or Sober for example, and there was definitely stuff that could have done better than Nobody Knows last era. lol. It's both a good and bad thing I suppose..
My fave things she released:
Most Girls Get The Party Started Just Like A Pill Feel Good Time Last To Know Who Knew U + Ur Hand LMAIL Cuz I Can (living in NZ means we get extra singles with Aus, yay lol) So What Sober Please Don't Leave Me Bad Influence (another aus/nz single. loves itt)
I seem to like more and more of her releases over time. :)

Curiously, something similar happened to me with WK. I didn't care much about it when I first heard it, but then all of a sudden hit home when I saw the cotton-candy-haired video and paid closer attention to the lyrics and the last verse, it gave me chills. Not the same for PDLM, but it definitely grew and I can find myself randomly singing the da-da-da-da when leaving my office to go for water, for example, hehe. I'm sad that it didn't get to Top5, but it faced a tough competition, too. Although, to be honest, I thought this was not gonna have more success than Sober.

i doubt it, Let It Rock didnt go recurrent for 30+ weeks, i dont think this can stay that long (that would be like more than 15 more weeks in the Top 20) i dont see it happening.
But this is having a lot of longevity.
