Keke Palmer an actrees turned singer who starred in Akeelah & The Bee, Barbershop 2: Back in Business, Madea's Family Reunion, & Jump In! is getting ready to release her debut album 'So Uncool' under Atlantic Records. The first single "Keep It Movin" goes for adds on mainstream and urban radios August 8th. You can also buy her sel-titled EP right now on iTunes which features "Keep It Movin", "Footworkin", and "Skin Deep". Her debut album will feature production by JR Rotem and The Clutch. Its a nice summer song in all but Footworkin would have been a better single and done better on radio. I doubt radio will pick up this song but I guess we'll have to wait and see. |

I thought "Footworkin" was horrible. I'm actually glad they changed it to this. The chorus is good.

According to Keke's blog she shot the video for "Keep It Movin" on July 10th.
She said it takes place on a train and theres gonna be four versions of her: Old Skool Keke, Glamorous Keke, Intelectual Keke, & and a Skater Keke.
I cant wait to see how the video turns out.

I dont think she looks like Aaliyah but she defiently is jacking Aaliyah's style.
But she said in an interview that her influnces are Aaliyah and Beyonce.

Shes 13 turing 14 in August.
She is really pretty and she defiently looks older than her age.
She reminds me of the black version of JoJo when JoJo first came out.

Keke just posted a new blog entrie, she said she did an interview with Z100 this morning and she saw the first rough draft of her video and it has many colors simular to Janet Jackson's All For You video.
