I really hope the next single (late Jan-May) is If I Can't Have You, and the RCA releases I Want You as the summer single. IMO it is a hidden gem! It can appeal to the teens as well as the adults, and I can see this getting airplay on her core formats (HAC, Pop, and AC). To me it sounds like a mix between Duffy and Mraz and has the potential to be a summer smash.
Then release Cry for the fall, and if that is successful, release DLMSY/Long Shot/TDWFA as the final single to end the era. Give Kelly some time off, and have her comeback Fall 2011.

I don't see AIEW getting more than 4 singles. So sadly IWY will probably not ever see the light of day as a single. It's a shame though, 'cause it has the potential to be a summer SMASH.

I definitely don't see a sixth single, and we may be lucky to get a fourth. But if there's a successful fourth single released around January, and if the next album stays on schedule and is released in November 2010 preceded by a lead single in September-October, that would leave a window for a fifth single to be released in late spring to close out this era. If that's the case, this song would definitely be a great candidate. It's totally addictive and fun.

I'd love if this could be the final single. It's so good and catchy. But sadly I don't see that happening.

With the success of "Already Gone", I feel pretty confident they'll follow it up with at least one more song. If they choose not to it wouldn't make much since given all the momentum Kelly's worked up lately. Assuming there's at least one more single, however, I don't see it being "I Want You".

I fell in love with this song while listening to her album, and was so excited to hear it being used in the TV promos for last year's Leap Year. I always pictured Kelly doing a rollerskates at a 60s drive-in diner theme for the video.
