Christina Milian Welcomes a Daughter

It's a girl for Christina Milian and husband The-Dream.

The singer-actress delivered daughter Violet on Feb. 26, her rep confirms to PEOPLE, saying the girl has "a full head of hair."

This is the first child for Milian, 28, and the fourth for singer-songwriter and record producer, 31, who has three children with his ex-wife, singer Nivea.

The couple – who wed in September – announced the pregnancy in October.

Christina Milian revealed her beautiful baby daughter to the world yesterday, taking her out for the day in California.

The American singer showered four-month-old Violet Madison Nash in kisses as she carried her around.

Violet arrived dressed in her pink sleepsuit, but when she awoke her doting mother changed her into an animal print skirt and white babygro, with a bow in her hair.

The two were accompanied by Christina’s mother Carmen as they headed to Starbucks then enjoyed a long lunch in Burbank.

It was the first time Violet has been seen since her birth in February.

'She looked very happy and she’s a very loving mum,' said an onlooker.

'She kissed the baby at least 30 times in the three hours they were there.'

Christina, 28, is married to Grammy-winning producer The-Dream - real name, Terius Hagert Youngdell Nash - who worked on Beyonce's hit track, Single Ladies.

The pair married in Las Vegas in 2009 just weeks before announcing her first pregnancy.

The Dream also has three children with ex-wife Nivea.

Christina has said she plans to return to music soon, to finish her album Elope, her first in three years.

She told fans on Twitter: 'I am gonna hit the studio next month and get started on finishing the album. Then it can come out!'

But for now is enjoying spending time with 'the best baby'.

'She’s just always so happy the second she wakes up,' she told People magazine. 'She has a smile on her face.'

But with an eye to continuing her career Christina has been careful to watch her weight.

Christina Milian & The-Dream Separate

After being married less than a year, Christina Milian and Terius ‘The-Dream’ Nash have decided to separate.

“The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet,” The-Dream’s rep announced. “They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward."

The news of the couple’s split comes at a convenient time, as The-Dream was recently caught on camera with his assistant, Melissa Santiago.

In one photo, The-Dream is being straddled by Santiago as the pair plays in the Caribbean. The producer-singer was not wearing his wedding ring.

The-Dream and Milian eloped in September 2009 and said their vows again in Rome in December. Milian gave birth to Violet just five months ago.
