I just played both versions back to back and Christina's voice just flowbetter over the track than Teairra. Teairra sounds weird over it. I don't think she should be doing any kind of Pop&B.

Teairra sounds much better than Milian on "Diamonds" and I love Milian much more! So let's be honest about "Diamonds"...it is great That Ms. Mari has it over Ms. Milian!

Christina did WONDERS to "Diamonds", I actually love it when she sings it.
But I dont mind if she didn't keep it for the album depending on what she does keep. Or maybe she's going in a certain direction with the album, and 'Diamonds' doesn't fit in on it. |

Is there that much hype around it to start with?
I'm a little disappointed that she scrapped all the other songs. I think of mix of what she had done and what she has been working on would be cool. I was curious to hear what she cooked up with Toby Gad, JR Rotem and the other Madd Scientist tracks. Especially what that "Paint It Pink" track she did with Eric Hudson.
Has she even said why she scrapped the rest of it? I better get a sh*t ton of leaks in the next month.
Also... they had a listening party back in April... I figured it was done at that point. What's the hold-up? Give us the single already.

Titan, i've stated many times exactly the same thing...she had Danja,Toby Gad,Madd Scientist,Tpain,and so many others...The Dream/Tricky are very in demand right now but when it comes to a full album the sound can get very repetitive...add in Los and it's borderline tiring hearing the same types of beats.

She is still on Myspace. Its a joint venture. But umm they said a while ago a single isnt coming til end of summer so i dont know why everyone is acting crazy. It'll come out when its ready. no need to throw something out with a concrete plan of action to promote it.

I'm sorry but I think when Dream sometimes says "I finished writing it in 2 weeks", he forgets to include the giving of other songs to the artist that he others rejected. ER recorded "Imma Cheat" and Nicole recorded "Punchin You In Your Sleep" so it's not like she's getting the freshest songs.

"Punchin'" is kinda hot though, LOL. Is there an Electrik Red version of "Cheat" out there?
Searched.. I remember this song now.. isn't there a clip of Christina singing this? Maybe I'm thinking that because it sounds she's on the chorus.
Electrik Red should've kept it. This way I would've liked one song on their album.

Radio Killa Records/MySpace Records/Interscope from what I remember. Both Radio Killa and MySpace are a part of Interscope anyway. |
