Detroit’s celebrity jeweler George Khalife and Singer / Songwriter / Actress Christina Milian have teamed up on a golden project.



“House of Fine Gold” is fine jewelry line made and distributed out of Khalife-owned GoldCorp Inc (Oak Park). Milian started wearing Khalife’s signature pieces (www.georgethejeweler.com) in 2016. He then began designing for her and the pair quickly became friends. After going back and forth for months about collaborating the two are finally ready to make a move. “House of Fine Gold’s” fall collection titled “ReMIXd” is set for a September release date, just in time for the holidays. ReMIXd is a line of 14k gold necklaces with words that can be mixed and matched to create an original and unique piece! This is just the beginning as the duo plan on adding and expanding with future collections.

Detroit’s celebrity-favorite jeweler, George Khalife, and singer, actress and entrepreneur, Christina Milian, have teamed up on a golden project; a fine jewelry line made and distributed out of Khalife-owned GoldCorp INC.

Christina began wearing George’s signature pieces in 2016. Shortly after, he began creating custom designs for her and a variety of her famous friends. Christina has rocked George’s pieces on countless red carpets and social media posts, and after going back and fourth for months, the two finally decided it was the perfect time to collaborate on a line of their own. This line, ReMIXd, is set for a September 2017 release date, just in time for the holiday season.

ReMIXd is a line of 14k gold necklaces with words that can be mixed and matched to create an original and unique piece. This is just the beginning, as the duo plans to add and expand with future collections.

“I have been getting so many compliments on my jewelry lately. 14k gold really stands out, and I love layering my necklaces from George” says Christina. The two were a natural fit, and the line is bound the be a huge hit amongst both their fan bases.

Christina Milian has been cast in Fox’s new musical drama pilot “Mixtape,” from “Quantico” creator Joshua Safran, TheWrap has learned exclusively.

“Mixtape” hails from Fox and Sue Naegle’s Annapurna Television, and is described as “a romantic musical drama that looks at a disparate group of interconnected people in contemporary Los Angeles through the lens of the music that defines who they are, [capturing] the different stages of love, exploring if time can heal a broken heart and if love can withstand life’s tragedies.”

Milian will play the recurring guest role of De’Andra Green, a fast and feisty spitfire medical student and girlfriend of Dante (Jahmil French). She is bitting, but thoughtful, and in contrast to Dante, dependable.

Milian joins a cast that includes Jenna Dewan Tatum, “Revenge” alum Madeline Stowe and “La La Land” actress Callie Hernandez.

Safran, who previously worked on NBC’s musical drama “Smash,” is writer and executive producer on the hourlong drama. Ali Krug is co-executive producer and Annapurna bosses Naegle and Megan Ellison are executive producers.

Milian starred alongside John Stamos and Josh Peck on Fox’s comedy “Grandfathered,” which wrapped in 2016 after one season. She’s also appeared on Hulu’s “East Los High” and Fox’s “Family Guy.” On the film side, Milian has starred in films like “Love Don’t Cost a Thing,” “Be Cool” and “Bring It On: Fight to the Finish.”

‘The Oath’: Christina Milian Cast As Series Regular; Leona Lewis & Zulay Henao To Recur In Sony Crackle Drama

Kevin Connolly will guest star on the series and direct multiple episode of Season 2, which has begun production in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Created by Joe Halpin, The Oath explores a world of gangs made up of those sworn to protect and defend and sheds light on corrupt and secret societies that are nearly impossible to join. Only a select few make the cut — but once inside, members will do what they must to protect each other from enemies on the outside and from within their own ranks. Season 2, which was ordered in April, finds the Ravens trying to free themselves from their debt to the cartel. The season will examine themes of family and redemption, giving the characters a chance to reclaim their lives as their own, pushing them to find a new path and attempting to conquer their inner demons – all while trying to protect their own lives in the process.

Milian will play Christine Parks, a second-generation Raven — her father was one of the gang’s founders — and partner of Kraley (Andrew Howard). She grew up admiring her dad and wants to follow in his footsteps. The actress, whose credits include Grandfathered and East Los High., is repped by WME, Link Entertainment, Milian Management and Stone, Genow.

Lewis recurs as Amber Hall, daughter of Pastor Greg, who grew up surrounded by the violence in her neighborhood. She now works as a doctor at the local hospital, doing what she can for those in the community that look up to both her and her father. Leona, who won Season 3 of The X Factor in the UK and has appeared on Britain’s Got Talent, is represented by CAA.

Henao will recur as Carmen Velasquez, the older sister of Ricardo and daughter of Ignacio who, after living most of her life surrounded by violence, is trying to move the family toward a legitimate business. Henao, who was a regular on OWN’s Tyler Perry drama If Loving You Is Wrong, is repped by APA, John Carrabino Management, APA and Stone, Genow.

Connolly (Pitch, Entourage) will guest as James Hoke, a former radio car partner to Karen Beach (Katrina Law) who now works in Internal Affairs and brings some troubling news to her and the Ravens’ attention.

Cast members also returning for Season 2 of Sony Pictures TV’s The Oath include Howard, Law, Ryan Kwanten — who’s also a producer — Cory Hardict, J.J. Soria, Elisabeth Röhm, Michael Malarkey, Isaac Keys, Kim Delaney, LaToya Tonodeo and Braulio Castillo. Exec producers alongside showrunner Halpin and Jackson are Dennis Kim, Todd Hoffman and Anne Clements.

Christina Milian, M. Pokora Latest Burglary Victims



Christina Milian and her famous French BF M. Pokora were the latest L.A. burglary victims ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the crooks broke into their San Fernando Valley home Friday at around 1 PM. They got inside by smashing a side door and beelined it for the bedroom, where they stole jewelry and watches.

Our sources say the best cops can determine ... the take was around $100,000 but it could be higher.

Christina and M. Pokora, a singer/songwriter who is super famous in France, were out of the country.

Here's the twist. In this case the burglar alarm was on, so the thieves beat the security team and the LAPD.

It's the latest in a string of celebrity burglaries. Most recently a burglar tried to hit Bella Thorne's house this week by breaking a window, but she went outside and scared him off. John Mayer was hit 2 weeks ago, and the burglars made off with somewhere between $100,000 and $200,000.

Although cops are not saying the thieves are specifically targeting celebs ... it seems pretty obvious. Famous people often Instagram where they are, and when they're not at home the burglars clearly know it.

As for Milian's burglars, cops are on the hunt.

Christina Milian, Adam Demos To Topline ‘Falling Inn Love’ Netflix Movie

EXCLUSIVE: Actress and singer Christina Milian and Australian actor Adam Demos have been tapped to star in Falling Inn Love, the Netflix movie which is being directed by Cruel Intentions and Just Friends helmer Roger Kumble. Filming is slated to commence this month in New Zealand.

Written Elizabeth Hackett and Hilary Galanoy, the Mar Vista Entertainment film follows city girl Gabriela (Milian) who spontaneously enters a “Win An Inn” contest and winds up with a money pit (albeit in a picturesque New Zealand town). With her only option being to fix & flip it, Gabriela reluctantly teams with the gorgeous local contractor (Demos) and soon grows to appreciate the community and a true partnership – in both work and love.

‘The Oath’ Star Christina Milian Takes On The Bustle Booth

Christina Milian is a true triple threat. Her Y2K R&B hits like “Dip It Low” and “AM To PM” soundtracked our childhoods, her TV characters range from a new mother on Grandfathered to a fierce cop on The Oath, and her dance skills, as seen on Dancing With the Stars, are on point, to say the least. But Milian has an idea that could push her in new creative directions: to write and produce the next installment of the iconic Bring It On franchise.

“I literally was thinking about it lately,” Milian says when I ask if she would star in another Bring It On film, chatting during her recent visit to Bustle. “I’m thinking like, what if I just write a new Bring It On movie? I think would be a really dope idea because they're all great.”

As fans will recall, the actor played Sky Lions cheerleading captain Catalina "Lina" Cruz in 2009's Bring It On: Fight to the Finish, the series' fifth installment. Yet although Milian wants to bring a sequel to life, she says she has no interest in playing a teen on-screen again, which is totally understandable considering how much of her career was spent catering to adolescent audiences. Back in the early 2000s, Milian appeared on Disney Channel's Movie Surfers; collaborated with Hilary Duff on the singer’s 2002 Christmas album Santa Claus Lane; and, most notably, became the voice behind the iconic Kim Possible theme song. That song, Milian says now, could have sounded very different than the tune that was probably your ringtone throughout elementary school, as she had an opportunity to co-write the lyrics but declined.

“I could have been a butthole and tried to change things, but it was perfect the way it was," Milian explains now. "It's just not in me to fake that I've written something, and it's not in me to make a mess of something just so that I can get some claim to fame for it. My claim to fame would be that I sing it.”

Milian’s Disney career could also have taken a different turn if she had accepted an offer to join the Mickey Mouse Club, alongside alum like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Ryan Gosling. “Some people succeeded off of that group and some people didn't, but when they did, they smashed it," she says. "Fortunately, I got to be amongst those people later on with *NSYNC and Britney, I toured with them."

It was those experiences that helped Milian transition from Disney star to R&B artist. A certain song helped as well: “Dip It Low”, the bouncy, irresistible bop that came out in 2004 and still shows up on today's party playlists.

“I was 21, tuning into my sexiness, kind of going from the Disney ‘AM to PM’ girl into like, ‘Hey, by the way, I am a grown-ass woman and I have hormones and I'm feeling myself’,” Milian remembers. And she has a theory on why “Dip It Low” sounds just as fresh today. “I’ve met people who said that they were 10 years old dipping it low and I'm like, OK, I don't know what that says about your parents, but maybe that's why it's still growing and it's still out there because now they're actually legal,” she says, laughing.

While she’s currently recording new music that's both R&B and pop, Milian has been focusing more on acting lately. She currently portrays badass police officer Christine Parks on Sony Crackle's The Oath, and the two women share the same motivation: family. “My dad raised me to be really tough and just be prepared for fights," says Milian, adding that similarly, Christine "needs to take care of her little sister, and so she's got a drive and she won't take no for an answer.”
