Christina Milian Revamps Album for 2011Christina Milian fans have been patiently waiting for new music. After having a baby and separating from her husband, the 29-year-old singer is readying an album that will showcase her fun, sexy side. “Next year I’ll finally be putting out a new album,” Christina said backstage at the American Music Awards. “I think I always say that, but this time I mean it. I just had to find some time to revamp and regroup everything for what this new album’s gonna be. It’s gonna be fun, it’s gonna be sexy, it’s gonna be everything that embodies what has happened in my life, but of course in the most fun manner.” She hinted that she would address her separation from The-Dream, who she mothered a daughter with earlier this year. “There are a lot of secrets that are gonna be on there. I’m sure I’ll get to expose lots of sexy details,” she teased. “It’s gonna be fun, a lot of really good energy, a lot of great club songs. A lot of real intimate songs that are just true to my heart and what goes on in my life.” The follow-up to 2006’s So Amazin’, previously titled Elope, will be reworked before its release in 2011. “It’s gonna be done through Interscope Records and we’re just getting started on revamping that album now.” In the meantime, you can catch C. Mili in the made-for-TV movie Christmas Cupid, premiering December 12 on ABC Family.

Really wasn't feeling that dress, but I'm glad to see her somewhere again. I can't wait for this damn album. Thank god she's still intent on releasing it.

'Big Break' From Dating for New Mom Christina MilianBy Stacy Jenel Smith Posted Nov 30th 2010 09:40PM Talk about a tumultuous year. Christina Milian became a mom -- daughter Violet was born in February -- and a divorcee within a few months' time, as her marriage to singer-songwriter-producer The-Dream (Terius Nash) officially ended. The album she was about ready to launch, titled 'Elope' -- as in their romantic Las Vegas wedding -- is now back to work-in-progress status. "It was called 'Elope,' but I'm going to have to change it. That was my life in 2009. I have a new attitude now. I'm a whole new girl -- a new woman," she tells PopEater. "I'll probably use a little bit of my material from before, because I still do love some of the songs. Some got leaked onto the Internet. But a good majority will be different." Milian sounds happy and strong as we speak. Maybe it has something to do with the fact she likes talking about her ABC Family movie 'Christmas Cupid,' airing Dec. 12. More likely, it has to do with the fact that Violet is sitting on her lap cooing part of the time. Motherhood seems to agree with her. "She comes with me everywhere, ever since she was born," Milian declares. "She was on the set every day while we were making the movie. She was actually pretty incredible. My mom came with me, and my assistant and friend, Lauren, and they'd take care of Violet when I would go do scenes. I was breast feeding her between shots, during lunch and after work. Everybody loved having her around. She's the happiest baby. If I don't bring her to a meeting, people are like, 'Where's Violet?' "I'm juggling the two together -- my work life and being a mom," she adds. "Some people think you have to stop doing your dream when you have a child. I think you can do both. It's a great balancing act." 'Christmas Cupid' turned out to be "such a relieving thing for me at this time in my life. It was such a fun distraction," Milian admits. "It helped me get back to being motivated, helped me feel that passion and love for what I do again." On top of that, being around her castmates -- including Chad Michael Murray, Ashley Benson and Jackee -- in the holiday comedy buoyed her spirits. Benson and Milian "are like best friends now. We were in practically every scene together," she says. "It almost felt like a -- I don't know if 'safe haven' is the right way to put it, but it felt good to be there. I felt I was not only doing the movie for myself, but for my daughter as well, which feels even better. And this is a type of character I never got to play prior." Her character is a selfish, success-obsessed celebrity publicist named Sloane. Benson plays her hot mess movie starlet client, who chokes to death on a martini olive and comes back as a ghost to warn her to change her ways. Unlike Scrooge's Jacob Marley, Benson sticks around to take Sloane on a guided tour of her boyfriends past, present and future. They're all pretty great-looking -- which Milian says with a laugh made her job all the easier. "So many guys she's with. Oh my gosh, all these guys. I didn't think about it 'til it hit me when I was about to start shooting. She kind of has a lot of boyfriends in this movie." In her real life, however, there is no boyfriend for Milian for the time being, and that is the way she wants it. "I'm not interested. It's understandable. I want to protect my daughter; everything in my daughter's interests now. I need a break from dating. I need a really big break. When I got into a relationship, I always think long term. I always think forever. And I'm not really ready for that," she admits. "I'm enjoying her so much that I don't have time for anything else when I'm not working." Ahead for Christina is the launch of her eyewear line and focusing on getting her new album finished. She expects to be back in the studio this week, in fact. And, of course, there's also Christmas. "I'm going to be with my sisters and my mom, and my little nephew who is three years old. It will be Violet's first Christmas, and we'll have so much fun."

I'm glad she's giving music another try. x1000. I miss this girl and her ability to consistently flop. But seriously, I liked the music before, and I like her attitude now. It's about her daughter and her career. Not about some jerk about to do what we all saw coming.

'Christmas Cupid''s Christina Milian & Ashley Benson on Staying Grounded in HollywoodBy PAULETTE COHN December 10, 2010 Christina Milian and Ashley Benson star in "Christmas Cupid," a modern-day Hollywood version of A Christmas Carol, playing a publicist and her out-of-control client respectively. Now, ETonline chats with the two stars of the film to find out what, if anything, they learned from playing these obsessed women! ETonline: What makes the "Christmas Cupid" version of A Christmas Carol unique?Christina Milian: I think what makes "Christmas Cupid" really special is it is a modern take on A Christmas Carol. There is the classic Scrooge character, which I play. I play Sloane Spencer. She is a modern-day businesswoman, but she is so into her work and she is a Hollywood PR girl, so that doubles her job. She is not concerned with anything, love or anything. She has a very wild, uncontrollable client that she represents, named Caitlin Quinn, who is out one day and chokes on a martini olive while she is in a club getting her party on and she dies. She becomes the ghost of Christmas past and the future and shows Sloane her love life. She shows her what her life could be like if she changes her ways. ETonline: So are there lessons to be drawn from Caitlin's demise that applies to your lives?Ashley Benson: Definitely. Caitlin tries to tell Sloane if she doesn't change her ways and continues to act like that, she will be alone. Everybody should not take their loved ones for granted. You never know what is going to happen. You should always treat others the way you want to be treated. ETonline: Are you ladies as career driven as Sloane in your real lives? A ghost reminds her to live her life. Is there someone that keeps you grounded?Christina Milian: I have plenty of things. My family keeps me grounded. It has always been my mom, but now I have a beautiful daughter. I remain humble because I want to set a great example for her. My family is everything to me. As long as I have them, I stay balanced and down-to-earth. Ashley Benson: For me, it is my friends and family. I constantly surround myself with people who aren't caught up in Hollywood. That is so not me. I just want to go to work and do my job and live a normal life and not have people know who I am. I think staying grounded is so important in this industry, because you can get a big head easily. I am from Orange County, so I go down there a lot to spend time with my family. I have tons of cousins and a sister, it keeps me grounded. ETonline: Do you have a favorite holiday tradition?Ashley Benson: Every Christmas morning since I was born, we go to my grandma's house and she makes the same breakfast every time. We open presents and everything, but how we get our presents … she lives on a big hill, and we go on a scavenger hunt through her neighborhood. It always ends up back at her house, but we always get clues and then she goes on a storyboard and writes this big, long story. We take a family trip every year, which is one of her gifts to us. It is really fun. It is a big game. Christina Milian: We get up early in the morning and everybody opens up their gifts together. Then, we fall back to sleep, [get up], eat and go see a movie together. ETonline: Ashley, what can we expect from the new season of "Pretty Little Liars"?Ashley Benson: The new season starts off with Hanna [Benson's character] in the hospital after she was run over by a car. She wakes up and she is stressed out by the whole thing. She thinks she remembers who A is. She tells the girls and they try to put all these clues together. It goes from there. The season is really juicy and the stakes are high. A puts them through an insane ride. She really tortures Hanna. After being hit by a car, she makes her do things that she does not want to. Everybody's secrets are spilling out in the first episode, so it is going to be crazy. ETonline: Christina, you have a new album coming out. I understand that you might be redoing it because of your divorce?Christina Milian: Yes, I am just in a different place in my life. The original album I worked on, Elope, I worked on with my ex-husband. I am single, free, confident, really happy where I am and I am having a great time. It is going to exude everything about that. Plus, on top of that motherhood is going to make a difference, too. There are so many single moms out there. We are going to do something that can relate to them as well. It is a new fresh start. ETonline: Christina, your divorce has become very public since you appeared on Wendy Williams' show. Were you happy to the have the opportunity to clear up the misconceptions, or do you feel the press is too intrusive?Christina Milian: I think it is something to expect with the job. I was happy I was able to clear up some rumors on Wendy Williams. Sometimes people get carried away and they run with what is out there, especially in the Internet age. To be able to have a voice and to be able to tell the truth, I don't get too into my private life, where I want everyone to know everything. But I think sometimes it is necessary if you want to clear something up. I felt it was great to be able to speak. "Christmas Cupid" premieres Sunday, Dec. 12 at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.

Christina Milian leaves make-up bag behind to record new album…Dec - 25 | By: Julian Filed under : Christina Milian Christina Milian put aside her usual glamourous self to work on her upcoming new album this week. I mean, it’s studio time. Who gets glammed up to record? Well, maybe Beyonce but Milian is different. The fresh faced stunner hit up the studio earlier this week with Kool Kojak and Oliver Goldstein (see pic above). Christina confirms she “finished up another song” with both Kojak and Goldstein, whilst Kojack confirms they’ve been in the studio writing together. Milian, who recently secured herself an acting gig on ‘CSI: Las Vegas’, confirmed to Wendy Williams earlier this month that her new single will premiere in March 2011. Kojak, a songwriter and producer, mainly specialises in alternative Hip Hop and electropop. He has written and produced for Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez and Ke$ha. He also co-wrote and co-produced Flo Rida’s number one Billboard hit ‘Right Round’. It looks like Milian might be giving her new album a complete overhaul. And if it means ditching many of the songs that were produced by her ex-husband The Dream, so be it. This could tur out to be just what Christina needs to revive her career, here is wishing her the best.

I can't wait for this project to finally come to fruition. I've been ready for a new album since she released "Us Against the World" (I still maintain that it's a crime that song didn't smash).

There’s a certain responsibility that I carry being a mom that makes me feel very confident and so blessed. Battle over Bieber's 'Baby'By WENN.COM Last Updated: February 1, 2011 10:22am Christina Milian and The-Dream are heading back to court to fight over the rights to Justin Bieber's hit song Baby, just months after agreeing to a "peaceful" divorce settlement. The singer/producer filed for divorce just nine days before Milian gave birth to their first child, daughter Violet, last February, insisting the relationship was "irretrievably broken." They avoided an ugly legal battle by agreeing to an amicable divorce settlement last November. A lawyer for Milian said at the time, "Ms. Milian strongly believes that peaceful resolution is better for their child and that (sic) she is very pleased with the settlement and that it was accomplished out of court." However, according to documents filed at a court in Atlanta, Georgia, and obtained by TMZ.com, Milian wants to re-negotiate the settlement to receive more financial support. The website reports she is also requesting a greater percentage of the royalties from Bieber's huge worldwide hit, which The-Dream and Milian co-wrote with other writers. According to TMZ, Milian already received 10% of The-Dream's publishing rights in the original settlement.

Christina Milian Shows Off Bikini Bod, Baby in Miami BeachHaving a baby hasn’t stopped Christina Milian from flaunting her beach bod. The hot mama was back in Miami in a bikini over the weekend. C. Mili, who sported a “Believe” tattoo on the left side of her body, looked happy as she splashed in the waves with 14-month-old daughter Violet Nash. Mother and child played in the sand and soaked up the sun with some of her girlfriends. “On the beach with my boo!” she tweeted along with a pic of her baby.

When did she get that unattractive tattoo? I think she got the "Believe" tattoo to cover some previous "stars" tattoos that she might've gotten w/The-Dream.
