The story of how Chris and Brian came up with Traffic Light is awesome. Those who follow Chris will know this. What Have We Become is my favorite bonus track. That song can definitely chart at the Rock charts. The screamos that Chris did on that song is a sign to me of the harder rock side of Chris that wants to get out LOL. Haha. Oh yeah I can definitley see Daughtry forming a screamo side-project . I actually prefer "Back Again" to "What Have We Become". I'm suprised co-writer Adam Gontier didn't snap that one up for Three Days Grace if Daughtry was only going to use it as a bonus track/B-side. I don't think Adam can hit the high notes in the bridge. Maybe he can, it just wouldn't sound right I don't think.

It's ridiculous and annoying how most of the bonus tracks are suited for Rock radio and surprise, surprise, they were excluded from the album in favor of the pop/rock ballads. :(

Even with this losing spins, it should be able to squeeze in a week or so at #10 before Pitbull, Shakira and Miley pass it.
So my original prediction for this was right - lower half of the top 10. I thought it'd do a few spots better than #10 though.

Bring on You Don't Belong! Or just anything but Life After You! For what it is worth, I'm with you. Just not certain the label is. LOL Poll question here on Pulse has the current response: You Don't Belong (5 votes, 23.8%) Every Time You Turn Around (0 votes, 0%) Life After You (1 vote, 4.7%) What I Meant to Say (1 vote, 4.7%) Open Up Your Eyes (1 vote, 4.7%) September (8 votes, 38%) Ghost of Me (3 votes, 14.2%) Learn My Lesson (0 votes, 0%) Supernatural (0 votes, 0%) Tennessee Line (1 vote, 4.7%) Call Your Name (1 vote, 4.7%) The Home like ballad is leading. The main rock song YDB follows. Then coming in third is the pop/rock song GOM. I'd be okay with those choices. I'm also partial to OUYE's, WIMTS, TL and CYN. TL not for pop of course. LOL

Still don't get why people think September would be a hit. That's the definition of an album only track, imo.

My fave bonus tracks are 'Back Again', 'What Have We Become' and 'On The Inside'. :) "What Have We Become" is my favorite of the bonus tracks. :) To those who were waiting eagerly for Top 10 I'm sincerely happy for you it arrived. This one took so long to get there with ups and downs that you deserve to enjoy this moment so congratulations. :)

Take this with a grain of salt but apparently... the new single will go to HAC first by end of September and will the Top 40 add will "follow shortly". This hold up with the release of the next single reminds me a lot of what RCA did with Kelly's "I Do Not Hook Up" where they waited forever for the 3rd single when it's obvious that the single is not selling the album anymore. I'm SO READY for the 2nd single!

So that each single is comfortabley paced away from the others? To create some kind of competition and buzz amongst the 3 most popular AI Idols? LOL (just some mindless thoughts here)...

RCA should make a handbook for other record labels to know exactly what not to do to kill your artists' album sales and momentum.

I say as long as this is gaining, let the 2nd single be delayed.

Kris Allen is with Jive so it doesn't matter when he releases his stuff. I am prepared though for the fact that our 2nd single will take a backseat over the promotions for the lead singles of Adam Lambert and Avril Lavigne. Lead singles will always be a label's top priority. Although.. I never really saw NS as a top priority for RCA despite being a lead single. But whatever. That's water under the bridge. Heh. RCA should make a handbook for other record labels to know exactly what not to do to kill your artists' album sales and momentum. LOL! It's sad how this is so true. They've perfected the art already. 11 9 DAUGHTRY No Surprise 5054 4938 116 24.831 +67 Spins +44 Bullet +0.386 Audience Interesting update. I guess we'll see in the next few days if this still has any life yet and can possibly move a few more spots or this has already peaked.
