Well I dunno about you but I'd rather hear Nirvana and Pearl Jam and all the 90's bands than that indie stuff.

Quite frankly, there are more people listening to 90's grunge than emo and Indie. The whole idea of indie is that it is somewhat underground.
I happen to prefer the 90's stuff. Weezer, Offspring, RHCP, etc. I say let em rock.
Kids who grew up in the 90's are now adults with more money than teenagers, and can therefore afford to buy more albums and go to more concerts.
