ROFLMAO!!!! OMG you made me laugh so hard! Thank you! I needed that! Yes, I can ~see it. He's just a disgrace to the human race: Was this on his Anti-D.A.R.E tour? If he really cares for those children he wouldn't be advocating drug use.

No. He raised a quarter of a million dollars for public school music education, and he hand delivered the supplies and instruments he helped buy to one of the schools that benefited from that.
That middle picture is him, as a child, and that bottom picture is of his guitarist's little girl whom he has been a part of her life since she was a baby.

Nope, that was when he visited a local middle school to deliver school supplies that his charity page on DonorsChoose raised...over $300,000 for schools that can't afford supplies for art, music, theater...that stuff.

Well, let's be fair. His fans raised that money. He merely tweeted about it and then went to a school. It's not like Adam is some big-time charitable guy that spends his off-hours reading to kids without camera and press there, or traveling to other countries to do charity work. He hasn't shown himself to be that guy yet. And even if he did, that still doesn't make what he said less wrong.

He's really had a tough time with the press....and all of these controversial quotes are from the UK..weird. Also, never once has he said something bad in a recorded interview (audio or visual)...so who knows what's going on.. Recent tweets:
@adamlambert: Ooh some members of the press are so sneaky!! -turning my words around and mixin and matchin quotes to change meaning! clever freakers:)
@adamlambert guess they're just doin their job. I'm honest to a fault. I left my filter in 07. I could order a replacement, but I'd rather keep it real.

I've never seen such a group of people who criticize every little thing he does and yet are obsessed with following everything he says and does! There's an agenda going on here that goes beyond just criticism.

There's an agenda going on here that goes beyond just criticism. People on my twitter feed were talking about it this morning--that's how I knew about it. And I check this forum on Pulse everyday anyway, wondered if people were talking here too. They were. There's no agenda. Nobody makes Adam say this stuff. It's not "picking apart" when the quote is so out there. lol.

Actually no. He set up that whole thing with Donor's Choose. It was a great thing for him to get involved with. As a former teacher, I admire him so much for wanting to help with music education. It's a wonderful cause.
This is a GREAT interview from Australia with Andy & Adrian. I guess they're a gay co-host team. They're so funny!

I thought he was supposed to be so smart. Didn't it ever occur to him to just stfu? Actually it is probably the drugs doing the talking. When you are drunk or stoned, you say and do things you wouldn't normally do. Someday when he is sitting in rehab or jail, he will look back at some of his quotes and cringe. That's probably the best we can hope for. In the meantime, step away from the children.

^^ Uh huh. I'm sure he spent tons of personal non-media-related time drumming up donations.
My point was clear--who cares about any of that if he advocates dangerous drug use?

Here's another Australian interview with Take 40:
That Singapore interview is hilarious! The screaming fangirls that he calls on the phone are HILARIOUS. OMG.
I think it's interesting that when Adam was in Australia, the hosts chose to play "Fever" off his album when Adam was in-studio, and in Singapore, they chose to play "Time for Miracles" when Adam was in-studio. I guess the different musical landscapes was evident right there.

Um..I'm 15, and I don't care about what he said because I'm smart enough to make decisions for myself. If someone is stupid enough to do something just because a celebrity is okay with it ... then they're the one with the problem. I'm happy for you but unless you can speak for the other 100 million kids in this country, you're just one voice.

I think when the mainstream media gets ahold of this stuff he spews, they will slowly start eliminating him from anything related to children. Who in their right mind would let their kids hang out around a drug advocating singer who has said he has no filter?

Here's another cute interview from Singapore: Awww that WAS cute. Thanks, I hadn't heard that one yet. The Japanese fangirls were adorable. Do we know what he's singing in that concert he was giving away tickets for? Haha, I can't believe they asked him which David he preferred. Way to fan the flames, Singapore DJs!!

Here's a video that's been making the rounds recently. It's Johnny Weir talking to the LA Times about Gaga, Christina, and Adam:

Obviously not everyone's going to like Adam, but I think he's a really lovely, sweet, good person, and I admire him a lot. :)
I hope we get videos from that industry showcase in Sydney at some point--that clip from the reggae-ish Mad World was awesome.
And the squealing fangirls in that interview are pretty adorable. :)

This is a GREAT interview from Australia with Andy & Adrian. I guess they're a gay co-host team. They're so funny I think this is video footage of that same interview :) I never thought we'd get so much media from Adam's international trip! And he's just getting started!!! Still loving the Unplugged videos! I'm really happy he did "Down The Rabbit Hole." It shows that just because you're going ~unplugged, that doesn't mean you can't still rock out! Obviously not everyone's going to like Adam, but I think he's a really lovely, sweet, good person, and I admire him a lot. :) I hope we get videos from that industry showcase in Sydney at some point--that clip from the reggae-ish Mad World was awesome. I know, I want that full "Mad World" performance so bad!! And ITA with your first statement as well. :)

This is what's bad about this statement: no one person on this planet should advise "people lacking purpose" to do acid. That group of people would be the easiest prey for acid. It's beyond absurd to do it. And to the 15 year old who claimed to be so smart, why do you think there are celebrity endorsements? Because people look up to celebrities and want to be like them. The thought of someone wanting to do acid to "find" himself is beyond ridiculous in my mind. What is he gonna say next? Sex is better while on Meth and everyone should try it? What an imbecile.

Yeah for Adam saying what he feels! It's so refreshing to see and hear someone honest instead of some fake singer heading to foreign countries pretending to actually care about them.

Wow. Adam's record label must have been extremely happy with his performance on Sunrise. Sony Music Global, RCA, and 19E have all tweeted to watch his performance, and it's now an official news item on Adam's site. I agree with them all-it is easily Adam's best performance of that song.
Here it is again:
At Adam's concert in Singapore today, he was presented with a plaque commemorating his album going Gold in Singapore.
ETA-I saw this tweet and I thought it was awesome. There was a Singapore dance school who, way back when, choreographed a dance to FYE and put it on Youtube. It was AWESOME, but of course, it got taken down for copyright reasons. That said, this was so sweet. From Adam's Singapore concert recap:
How cute is that? They opened his show! I'm sure those kids were thrilled!
