Is the picture above after the nose job? Maybe his parents gave it too him for his bar mitzvah or something.

I don't find Adam attractive. He's not ugly but he's just not my type. I also don't think he has had any surgery on his face but that's just my opinion.
I have to laugh at the fact that he is trying to make a fashion statement with the coordinating gloves with each of his outfits (very expensive ones to boot). How out-of-date and frankly not cool are those gloves. LOL! Just add the clothes allowance to the amount he has to re-coup on his album.

Adam just comes across as a poser, to me. It's like he is play-acting the role of a rocker. And seriously he must have to take off the make-up with a trough.
It'll be interesting to see if and or how much his sales increase after his Oprah appearance.
Good that he is getting some radio play. It'll be interesting to see if he gets that with a second single. Males do have trouble getting play on CHR....especially with their second album. You know if Kelly was singing this song it would be a hit.
The video was good.

Adam has a major problem in my opinion. You may not think he comes off as a rocker, and I would submit to you that rock music is precisely what he is best at. At the live show, he did very well playing Led Zeppelin, it rocked and it sounded fantastic. When he sang David Bowie, it didn't even sound good, let alone something I'd want to buy. This album is a whole lot of attempts at alternative-style or pop-leaning music with his signature scream thrown in all kinds of weird places.
I get that they are worried he won't get a lot of traction in rock because of his sexual orientation. I disagree. I think if the music is great, people will listen to it. There have plenty of successful, out of the closet homosexual artists.
However, on pop, I just don't this is Adam's best sound. I don't care for it and I know a lot of other people that don't care for it.

He may be able to sing a rock song but I also don't see him as a rocker. It's really all about the attitude. He to me is much more a pop/dance guy. I don't think he HAS to be a rocker to succeed so I think over time he will get beyond that. Alternative/rock radio in the US isn't going to play any of his "rock" songs anyway. They aren't playing anyone that comes from AI including Daugthry who is much more a current mainstream rocker than Adam.

I think Adam will find the most success on Top 40 and Dance stations, but that doesn't mean he won't be successful. Classic rock fans didn't necessarily like Glam rock, you know? lol So there is a big division between the two camps. lol I think Adam could do well in the long run. His songs are catchy, and his debut album is quite good, especially for a first album.
Any new info on whether Adam is going to attend the Grammys?? I hate that they are so slow in announcing people. ugh. It is driving me crazy wondering if Carrie or Kelly Clarkson will perform this year or present, etc. lol

I think it will be far more interesting to see if he will be performing at Clive's Pre-Grammy Party. That is usually a good indication on who the label is supporting. I bet Carrie will perform and Kelly won't.

I hope Kelly and Carrie both get to present at least. I think that is possible. Adam might be a presenter too, you never know. Keisha is presenting, as well as Miley and Jonas Brothers, and none of them are nominees.
You are right that Adam, Susan Boyle, etc, might perform at the Clive party as this year's hot new artists to launch. Maybe that is where Adam will perform, not the Grammys themselves. I can totally see that happening.

I don't think this was posted here. It's his "On the record with Fuse" interview.
Here he talks about the album, the music he listens to, the single, etc.

Kelly could perform because she's nominated.

I hope both perform at the Grammy thing. this youtube of Adam was really good- I really like him in his interviews, he makes a great guest.

Kelly could perform because she's nominated. right. Both Carrie and Kelly are nominated, so I would love for them both to perform, preferably together. lol But I would settle for at least a presenter slot. It wouldn't surprise me if Adam got to present too.

I don't think there is any question that Adam is getting the promotion. I see him everywhere. Hollywood is supporting him, the entertainment industry is supporting him, his album sales are strong. The only place, at least so far where it doesn't seem to be working is the singles chart. If Adam has trouble becoming a superstar, it won't be from lack of support.

WWFM is doing just fine, it's #31 in the pop chart (and climbing) and currently #34 on iTunes.

Good and Bad with the Oprah IIHY performance-
Good- I swear, I almost thought he was lip-syncing, it was so much like the CD, even though it seemed unlikely, then of course toward the end, the notes weren't exact and were in line with his mic and mouth so I knew he wasn't, but wow! He sounds incredible on that song, it's so hard to sing live and sound like the real recording, but he does.
Bad- he looks awful- I don't know, it looks like he just got up or something, the make-up is so caked, he looks around 45, the make-up is not applied that well for the lighting but his face looks almost scary at times. He also had a lot of space on stage and did not do a lot of movement- he needs to use the stage more, I think, just standing there, it seemed there was potential that was not realized as far as performing went.

Well, the lack of moving around could be because the camera would have a hard time following him everywhere. But the makeup is... yikes.
I realize he doesn't have the best skin, but with the proliferation of HDTV, he needs to work on the type of makeup he uses on his face, or else it's just going to look like shellac. Not attractive. Actually, even with the bad skin, he would still look better with less makeup rather than more. Crevices in the skin are better looking than what is essentially face paint. There exists such a thing as makeup made specially for HD. Use it, Adam. Love it, Adam... or just ditch the makeup altogether.

Wow he just killed it on Oprah!!!! Very nice.
I'm glad to see the 18% increase he had last week. That was a nice surprise! Can't wait to see what Oprah will do to his numbers. His album has already shot up on iTunes and Amazon.

I cannot believe the kind of promo Adam is getting! Has to be the most out of any idol ever actually. Too bad his sales don't reflect it but I bet he sees a huge jump after Oprah. If not, they might as well pack it in....

Actually, Cook got far more promo than Adam did last year, but it all came to a screeching halt come January for Cook. I'm glad RCA is just getting warmed up.
His album sales are INCREDIBLE following Oprah! That's THE highest I've seen the standard version of his album on iTunes since it was released back in November!

His album sales went up 18% from last week, that's pretty nice. I'm sure Oprah will give it another boost. Nice to see WWFM #25 on iTunes and the album #47 #45 and #59 #58. The regular version was #114 the last time i checked before Oprah.

When I checked before Oprah, the Deluxe version was #111, and the standard edition was not even in the Top 200

Deluxe is up to #42 and Standard up to #57. His album sales will most likely benefit more than the single based on Oprah's audience.

I thought Oprah was good, I always find him interesting and likeable in his interviews, though even I'm getting tired of the AMA questions. It was sort of strange- Susan Boyle was on 20 minutes and Adam was on 40- I love Susan Boyle but i'm sure they did not know what else to do with her- she doesn't really say much and her accent is hard to understand- sometimes I don't know what she is saying at all- and her answers are all kinda strange- it was weird interview between her and Oprah but of course I always shed tears when her story is retold- it's very inspiring.

He's #4 on Amazon. Sales should increase big time next week -- maybe near 20K.
