I liked most of the songs Adam sang on Idol, but really nothing I have heard or seen off of his album.

I love Voodoo. It should have been a track on his US album. Part of it really reminds me of George Michael..and I mean that in a good way. It's sexy, haunting and I can't get it out of my head! A definite winner!

I never thought I would say this, but if he wants to do the whole OTT fashion thing, he needs to consult Lady Gaga. Somehow she manages to do it without looking cheap in the process. Nobody is flattered by skin tight plastic-y pants and a bedazzled codpiece. I don't care who you are.

I watched about half of the video and thought it was disgusting. The song, the dancers and the costumes, but maybe he has found his niche.

LOL. That was certainly something else.
I can't say that I'm a fan of the performance (or this song live for that matter), but come on, if there's going to be a venue where wearing a bedazzled codpiece and having drag queen dancers is appropriate, it's going to be Sydney Mardi Gras where the majority of people are shirtless or in drag or wearing bondage themselves. The audience he was performing in front of loved it. It's not like he did it in front of 20 million people on American Idol. If he comes out doing this on that show, then we know he has most definitely gone too far, haha. However, I think he is very cognizant of when and where to go far out and when to reel it back.
Voodoo is interesting. I didn't think much of it at first, but after the first listen, it really got stuck in my head. I can see why it wasn't on the album as there aren't really any other songs like it on there, but it sure is better some of the other ones that made it.

To me, Voodoo immediately stuck out to me as a "soundtrack song" for something like Twilight or True Blood. I wouldn't be surprised to see it be used as such in the future.
Oh and that performance of FYE? It was LGBT Mardi Gras. If he can't be OTT and overtly gay at an LGBT event, where CAN he be?
Oh and Adam has a fantastic ass. Holy cow.

I think Voodoo would be a prime candidate for being remixed. It's very sexy-something I can see playing at a club between the more traditional dance tracks.
I don't know if it's been mentioned here, but FYE the song is up to #5 on the Billboard Hot Dance Tracks chart, which I think is pretty cool :)

FANTASTIC performance on Sunrise! His vocal was gorgeous. I loved the early morning rasp he had going on. I thought it suited the acoustic, vulnerable rendition of the song perfectly.

The performance on Sunrise was so much better than 90% of the stuff he's done this era. If he did that, his sales would be much higher than they are now.

Adam performed an acoustic showcase at Marble Bar in Sydney, Australia. For now there is just one video of him performing an uptempo version of Mad world. I really like it.

I love it too :) It's different but it's really cool at the same time, and you can tell he loves it, he really enjoys singing it.

This made me flail so hard. Johnny Weir gave an interview with the LA Times about his love for Gaga, Christina, and Adam:

So where has he released overseas? I know he's promoting, but I haven't been keeping up with how the albums are doing in each market. I get the impression things are going well though.
This has been 19's plan all along, so I think he's beyond set if he can do well abroad. He can surely turn a mighty profit that way!

His album was released on Friday in Australia, and the rest of Europe and Asia get the album either this month or April.
Here's the official UK promo reel for Adam. I like it:

:o That's fantastic. I love, love, LOVE that track and surprisingly it translated really well to the acoustic setting. Adam's so poised and he had a lot of fun with that performance too! He also did "Broken Open" for this set...really looking forward to seeing that video because it's such a beautiful song! Heard "Voodoo" over the weekend and I was kinda underwhelmed by it. Oh and that performance of FYE? It was LGBT Mardi Gras. If he can't be OTT and overtly gay at an LGBT event, where CAN he be? My thoughts exactly.

Nova.fm (Australian radio stations) released an acoustic set that Adam did while he was in Sydney, as well as an acoustic WWFM he did in Melbourne. I thought it was very interesting hearing Music Again and Sleepwalker acoustically. Adam said that he and the band had never done Sleepwalker acoustic before, so they were just winging it. The sound quality on the Sydney vids is a little sketch at times, but they're still really good. The Melbourne WWFM is beautiful.
