Though I really dislike this song (and have been very vocal about it) I can't deny the fact that my opinion of the song seems to be the minority. This song is definitely shaping (if not already) to be a truly massive success for them. Congrats are in order for the Peas. I agree. I never liked this song, but it seems like almost everyone else does. I don't get why, it's so corny...but I guess it is catchy and feel-good. How many weeks did Boom Boom Pow spend at #1 on CHR and on the Hot 100? How many weeks has this had at #1 on the Hot 100 so far? |

I Gotta Feeling has 6 weeks at #1
BEP's 18 straight week at #1!
i think this will be #1 on the Hot 100 for at least 3 more weeks!

How many weeks was Boom Boom #1 on CHR?
18 straight weeks at #1 on the Hot 100...that's insane...
The record for consecutive weeks at #1 on Hot 100 by same artist is 19 weeks by Usher (Yeah for 12 weeks and Burn for 7) in 2004
So IGF needs to stay at #1 for 2 more weeks on Hot 100 and BEP have the new record.

Well im not sure how much of a difference there is between RTT and IGF in audience right now. I'm guessing at least 50m and if anything we can't predict what will happen in 9 days from now in airplay counting towards Hot 100. If RTT is released, the peas will have 1 more day (monday sales) although, and the TCA performance and we know teens will go out and buy music. So even if RTT takes a slight lead in downloads, I think BEP can still take #1 on Hot 100.
