Reasons Why This Sucks: - Sounds like a boyband song - Bad Lyrics - The "Oh Yeah!" in the chorus reminds me of the Kool Aid guy - The third chorus played in higher key like a 80's song
MAN THIS IS SO BAD, TOP 20 CHR\POP

Yeah, the key change is one of the best parts of the song.

Why I love this:
It sounds like "Somebody Told Me" in the chorus. Catchy as can be, without being annoying. Somewhat clever lyrics Key change in the third chorus

This deserves to go top 10, but then again, so did Thunder.
I think it should at least go top 20.

To elaborate on the lyrics, the similies are generic and have been used countless times before, and the drinking-related analogies make me want to vomit all over myself on the bathroom floor. "Forever is over" is the coup de grace that definitively eliminates any possibility for the listener that the song may miraculously improve. The phrase displaces the listener from the complex plane and places him or her into the simple, zero-dimensional fantasy plane of the lyricist who unconvincingly professes the entitlement to manipulate explicit universal definitions in order to establish a sense of rebellion with the desperate-for-music fifteen-year-old emo-wannabee semi-virgin who has just broken up with the first person to ever orally stimulate his or her nipple(s). I would rather see, hear, and smell a constipated cat for four minutes than listen to this song. Boys Like Girls, you enthralled me with The Great Escape, but now that I have seen what you are truly capable of, I am disappointed beyond return. Reccomendation: Open for the Jonas Brothers. D-d-d-

D-d-d- Overreacting much? The song is supposed to be like that... a fun laid-back summer love song... Nothing deep, nothing groundbreaking... just something fun to sing along... I'm sure they'll have a couple of songs with more depth or meaning... a-la-Thunder maybe, but this is just supposed to be fun and laid back

My only complaint about this song...
The Oh yeahs. As someone above me said, kinda make me think of the Kool-Aid man.

Umm, I decided to listen to this song after a line in it was compared to the Kool-Aid Man.
And although this is a decent track (I particularly like the U2-esque intro), the line sounds like nothing like that Kool-Aid man. The background vocalist ain't got s**t on him.

I've already heard this countless times the past few days.
I REALLY hope it'll be a huge hit for them. I loved their debut album and I hope they become regular hit makers.

No sophomore slump for these guys... after two listens, I'm hooked on this song! I'm hoping this is as big as 'The Great Escape'.

The Great Escape wore out on me pretty fast, it sounds outdated like crazy now...I'm excited to hear the other stuff from these guys. This song is decent.

The fact people are going, "this is doing well!", is blowing my mind. NO DUH. They had three hits before, its going to get some curiosity spins. While I am in my 20's, when I first heard BLG, I thought, "well, this group isn't amazing, but they seem to have some type of potential", then this song comes out and agreed to earlier above, makes me want to vomit. This is absolute GARBAGE, and I really feel bad for whoever produced these guys, they are going to get DESTROYED by critics and believe it or not, radio responds. I really at first thought, "watch out All-American Rejects, pop-punk might have someone else heading to the top", but now bands like Fall Out Boy and AAR must hear this and go (while not be demeaning at all to homosexuals), "WHAT A BUNCH OF F@GS!"...ughhhh, if you want power-pop for girls, look to the Jonas Brothers, there the pros in that category and embrace it.
PATHETIC IF YOU LISTEN TO IT, AND LIKE IT.
