Just a heads up, you might want to change the title to Brand New - TBA, to keep it about singles.

i am stoked for this release. The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me is one of my favorite albums of all time! i was a huge fan of their first two album, deja entendu in particular, but devil and god was a disapointment imo. these guys are from my hometown on long island, so im hoping for the best. it was a shame they got plugged into the "emo" scene a 6-7 yrs ago because theyre clearly more talented then any band in that genre. im stoked to hear some new material. |

While Deja Entendu was clearly a huge leap up from Your Favorite Weapon, Devil and God absolutely destroys those first two albums by so much it's jaw-dropping. I just wish I had heard it (with my full attention  ) in a timely fashion, while the album was still being promoted. :( It crushes me how much my first time seeing them live--while working, at that!--was a wasted opportunity, in hindsight. :'( I just listened to several songs from Devil and God to and from work tonight, in fact. Anyway, to say I'm anticipating their new album would be an understatement. Not to mention how Devil and God has one of the absolute greatest album covers of all time. |

I prefer Deja Entendu myself, especially "The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows." Great song.

Yeah, The Devil and God is by far my favorite Brand New album. I never cared to look into their first album because it's not like I was floored by Deja, either, even though it was decent and certainly not bad on its own right.
I remembered seeing them in '07 and they did most of D&G. The only other older songs they played were "Sic Transit Gloria" and "Okay, I Believe You..." from Deja. None from YFW, not even "Jude Law."
If what I hear before the release sounds pretty good then I'll get it.

It seems like their sound changes with every album. Each one has gotten deeper and more artistic with their lyrics too so i'm really excited about what they're gunna put out this time.

I think that should give you a good idea what the rest of their material is like. But each album they sound completely different, just a heads up. |

If you like Taking Back Sunday or Thursday, you'd probably like this band. They're kind of a mix of the two in a way. They have TBS commerciality and Thursday's artistic endeavor.
