This has been confirmed as the first single from their new album.
It will be available to listen to shortly, according to their official website.
How do you think this will do on Urban/Rhythmic?

It will do well on Rhythmic, and I don't know how it will do at Urban. I having a feeling this song will be either a ballad or a song about dancing

A leadoff ballad? Matthew Knowles is smarter than that.

A leadoff ballad? Matthew Knowles is smarter than that. Yeah... it'll either be an uptempo hip-pop dance song, or a hook-definied midtempo groove.

I having a feeling this song will be either a ballad or a song about dancing that's an odd feeling... does it feel like indigestion? i'm sure it's upbeat. predictions are DUMB when no one's heard it, except that hype alone will push this top 5 as long as it's not total garbage.

This sounds more Pop than Urban.... I don'tknow how it'll do at Urban... Top 10 at least because it is DC3. It'll do better at Rhythmic.
Did Darkchild produce this? I thought I heard him say "Darkchild" towards the end of the song.

I think this will actually do least well at Urban. It's pretty good but I'm not really into it yet-- of course it's just a clip. It sounds like a quick riser/quick dropper to me. Better not be the best they have on the album (probably won't be, their last two albums lead singles weren't really the best).

is that directed at me? just asking. it happens a lot at this board, people will really be like "theres a new artist ive never actually heard who will be releasing a single in 10 months, lets make predictions" and its ludicrous.

We arent necessarily predicting but sometimes based on the artist and the airplay plus the hype, you make general assumptions.

I don't really understand why it had to be my post that made you "lash out" like this, you speak as if I do it every week, and even though you may not have meant it directly, that's how you made me feel (by using the word DUMB). I said their official site said the song would be posted up shortly, and it was, a few hours later. It's not like I said "The new Destiny's Child single premieres on November 3rd, but since we got the name, let's start the predictions 2 months in advance!" Who exactly do you think you are anyways? lol You can think it's DUMB all you want but I doubt people will stop the way they post just for one person. Anyway, back on topic.

okay, i'm listening to the full version right now and it reminds me of a marching band...i don't know why but it does.
i'm not feeling it but it's just my first listen and it seems like the chorus is being repeated over and over and over and yes, it's a darkchild production.

When was Darkchild's last major hit? I'm surprised DC3 used him.... but good for him they did, he gets to add another hit to his resume. I wonder if this will re-jump start his career.

I wonder if this will re-jump start his career. it probably will but it shouldnt since he basically ripped off "the jump off" from Timbabland. The drum beat is basically the same. But his beats have always been good, especially lately I think they have been better then before. but i think the artists he has worked for recently have not been anyone important like Blaque. His production on "i'm good" was tight. So in some ways im surprised they used him because he hasnt had a hit in years but in some ways im not surprised because the stuff he has done lately has been good he just hasnt had the right artist to work with and make it a hit.

I just got the full-version of the song, it's better than I thought b/c the beat is infectious in terms of making you want to dance. The hook isn't very strong but yeah, the beat really makes you want to move. I'm pretty sure now this will have a quick rise/fast fall, but that still makes it a hit.

i agree with the darkchild comments...last i heard him was on that sean desman "sexy" remix - let's just leave it at that (not one of my favourite tracks in the least)...and before that, spice girls "holler" and i'll be out front and admit that i loved that track and thought the girls should have got some love for that and darkchild's production was right up there on that one.

"Dangerously In Love" by Beyoncé just entered the BB Charts at #76.
"Lose My Breath" is a really really hot song. It should become a big #1 hit and it already recieved 3,118 million audience in less than one day!

There are some listener reviews after listening to this song. On Russ Parr, most of responses are totally negative. For me after listening to it, it's all about Beyonce`not the rest of the group. Technically, it's more of a sophomore album for her than just the group. I know that we have yet heard their new album. But as long as her father is managing the group and her primarily, they'll make hits. The group would probably be around for like year and a half, two at the most. Then again, it may be less, i don't know. For me, I'm not really feeling this track all too much. It'll take a few more listens for me to grow on this.

I love turn and burn songs the most because I can come back and listen to them years later and still appreciate them. I think its because when I hear a song too much for too long then I never want to hear it again.
