I like how you carefully ignored all the discussion we had already on this topic so you could make a crack on the band. I didn't think it was possible to carefully ignore something. Usually, when you ignore something, you don't "care" about it at all So, I was 5 days late to the party. Like that's a big deal on a forum. Sorry I don't crawl around here as much as some people.  I never thought someone who fancies himself "penance" would be so vicious. |

Well, they did win video of the year at the VMA's for "Sins," and that was an all-genre category. Yes, but that year all the awards were fan-voted, and whatever act has the most internet-savvy fans in the category is gonna win. I haven't seen any VMAs since 2006, but traditionally, you could easily predict the winners of the MTV2 Award and the Viewer's Choice awards every year. |

There's a demo of a new song called "Oh Glory" on their website...it also says to check back soon for New Perspective. So maybe we'll get to hear it soon. But they did lose everything else they were nominated for...I guess their fans only cared about the big award. And I found it kinda surprising at the time that MCR lost to FOB. |

The verses are a little weaker than I thought, but I really like the chorus.
All in all it's a decent single. It's really different for these guys though, it doesn't sound like it's from either of the two albums. It's got a completely different feel entirely.

They seem to have recorded it in the same sessions that they're working for their new album right now...so why wouldn't they?
Wow, is it just me or does it kind of sound like a Motion City Soundtrack song? At least the intro does.

This isn't doing much for me at the moment. I mean it's okay but compared to the first album its like they are going in reverse. They started off with a cool unique sound and now this song could be any one of a hundred bands in the genre. I actually prefer Nine in the Afternoon to this. Not sure if it'll be a grower or not to me.

Good song! :) This is exactly what I wanted. It doesn't sound exactly like A Fever You Can't Sweat Out or Pretty. Odd. stuff. I loved both albums but I want Panic to continue trying different sounds. I also liked the "Oh Glory" clip a lot.
