Shakira sounds horrible period. I'd go with Paulina.

I LOVE Thalia, but her style was too fake / a total replication of J.Lo's style. Thalia is far from ghetto. She's been rich her entire life and is incredibly classy (Princess Diaries-Style Trained). She's never been poor and it makes no sense she should be anywhere near the ghetto. Paulina is replicating Shania Twain's video (riding a motorcycle in futuristic-style setting).
I choose Shakira. It's really no wonder she's done so well. The song could still be released right now and I think it would be a hit. She came across absolutely original, unique, good voice, dance moves, image. Everything about her was real. She truly deserved the biggest success.

I wasn't aware any of these other than Shakira had crossed over.

Since I know Shakira will win this (by a lot) and she SHOULD, I'll vote for Paulina who is way better than Thalia ;)

This is how I would rank them:
Don't Say Goodbye Whenever, Whereever I Want You

None of them has a great voice to begin with but Shakira's success is undeniable. "Hips Don't Lie" alone was massive everywhere.

Shakira is in a league of her own.
I do have a soft spot for Paulina tho.

Paulina was the only one who tried to crossover with a very similar sound and image that she was already doing in Spanish (And it went nowhere)
Shaki went full pop with “Whenever Wherever” and her new look... I remember being shocked at the time, but eventually loved it!
Thalia lost all her appeal when she tried to ‘americanize’ herself... She’s much better on Latin rhythms

Shakira followed by Paulina and Thalia.
Shakira's material overall was better.
I too felt Paulina didn't change her style that much either and it just didn't translate into longer success here.
I thought Thalia's material before was better and her English language crossover stuff was okay, but it felt too watered down though I did like some of it. I think they gave up too quickly on her crossover.

I mean, Shakira is really the only one that had a sustainable cross-over career.
Though, I cannot tell you how many times I've been drunk on the dance floor jamming to Paulina's Spanish songs. I love her.
Thalia had some bops too...her Spanish stuff, tho.

Not a fan of Shakira at all but the woman had massive success everywhere. Can't argue with numbers.
